What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph has many parts. Having a natural eye is important, understanding your client, and knowing how to work your camera. Here at F&P Photography, we are well versed in these areas. We have had a lot of experience in all types of photography, so we know how to capture any moment. Something our clients often compliment us on is our ability to pose the client. When you haven't been in front of the camera often, it's easy to feel uncomfortable or awkward... No worries with us though, we will keep you feeling comfortable and confident through out the whole session!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When starting a new project, I often ask the client about their budget, their vision, and their timeline. I know how special photos are, and want them to be affordable for every client. Also, the clients personal style and history coming through the photos is very important to us! Lastly, we'd love to know when the client is available to pick the perfect time for their session/wedding!
What do you love most about your job?
What we love most about photography is meeting new people and hearing their story. We love to get to know our clients before and during our sessions/weddings, it makes the session all the more fun! We also love making our clients feel comfortable and confident in every photo!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We started pursuing photography about 2 years ago. It was something our team member Ariel wanted to get into since she was a teenager. After taking the plunge and finally buying a beginner camera, we started practicing and perfecting our craft. Not long after, Ariel was asked to become a second shooter for a professional and award winning photographer. After more training and updated equipment, we decided to start our business out of the love for people and taking their photos!

Our clients continue to come back to us for sessions because how confident they feel in their photos and the ease of the session itself. 30 Minute Engagement/Portait Session
Our 30-minute package allows just enough time to deliver a beautiful gallery of photos, ones that you will treasure forever! This is perfect for those looking for a more simplified session, one outfit look, and one location. This small but mighty session packs the perfect punch.
6 Hour Wedding
Our 6-hour package gives you enough coverage from the start of your ceremony until the end of your reception! This might also be a great option if you are planning a more intimate or micro wedding. Why 2 photographers you ask? Because no one can be in two places at once! With 2 photographers we offer different angles at the same moment, meaning we can capture both the bride and the groom's reaction! This also allows us to split up and still capture every moment of the day, meaning your wedding continues to run seamlessly.
8 Hour Wedding Package
Our 8-hour wedding package is by far our most popular! This package allows the perfect amount of wedding coverage, not too little and not too much. 8 hours of coverage gives us just enough time to capture all the details of your wedding and deliver an absolutely stunning gallery. Why 2 photographers you ask? Because no one can be in two places at once! With 2 photographers we offer different angles at the same moment, meaning we can capture both the bride and the groom's reaction! This also allows us to split up and still capture every moment of the day, meaning your wedding continues to run seamlessly.
10 Hour Wedding Package
10 hours of wedding coverage means no detail goes uncaptured. Rings? Covered. Flowers? You got it. Hanging out and having fun with your bridal party? ABSOLUTELY. This is our favorite package we offer because it allows us to be there with the bride and groom every step of the way! Why 2 photographers you ask? Because no one can be in two places at once! With 2 photographers we offer different angles at the same moment, meaning we can capture both the bride and the groom's reaction! 2 Hour Elopement
2 hours of elopement coverage allows just enough time for a few getting ready shots, first look (if you choose), ceremony, cake, and couples portraits. We personally love shooting elopements because of their romance and intimacy!
