I found this bakery here on yelp. After looking at pictures of previous work on Facebook and Instagram I decided to try her out. I sent the baker, Michelle a picture of a cake my daughter saw online. Michelle set up a cake tasting for us (all of the cakes were amazing) and from there we made the decision. We had a vanilla cake with raspberry and chocolate filling. Michelle was the only pastry chef willing to do a large multi-tiered cake for our daughter's wedding, which my daughter had her heart set on. I know transporting and setting up a cake of the size we ordered is not easy but Michelle was quick and efficient and the display she set up was beautiful. It amazes me the creations that Michelle comes up with. Her cakes are incredibly detailed and you can feel the love and dedication she puts into them. Added bonus for all of this is that they're super tasty!! Once we found the Cake Faerie, we've not ventured anywhere else for sweet delights for parties (she made my birthday cakes and they're still talked about 3 months later) or even just weekend get togethers (she makes incredible cupcakes too). I give Fiona's by the cake faerie a 5 star for great customer service. Although I was not able to taste her cakes due to being Booked, she took the time to reach out to 3 bakers who were able to help me with the treats for my daughters 2nd birthday. I pieced together an idea for my cake and submitted it to their website with an inquiry about price. Michelle emailed me the next day and was so enthusiastic about my idea. She responded to emails quickly and was able to give me a CLEAR breakdown of prices. She hand delivered the cake to the venue and was even early. Michelle is amazing! I have ordered two cakes from her- one in which was my wedding cake. Everything about her work is incredible. The quality, price, and taste are notches above other bakeries. Michelle is wonderful!! Michelle baked my daughter's Baby Shower cake and not only was it beautiful and went perfectly with the décor of the shower but it tasted heavenly! I went with a white cake and raspberry filling with white buttercream and mint green lettering. The raspberry filling was just enough and tasted incredible! Everyone loved the cake and people who aren't cake eaters were commenting that this cake was one they thoroughly enjoyed. My daughter had the perfect cake! Michelle created a cake to celebrate my daughter's graduation from college with a nursing degree.  Found a design on Pinterest as the starting point, and Michelle designed a "name badge" with her photo, name, credentials and logo from the hospital where she'll be working!  It looked so official!Cake was almond with chocolate hazelnut and fresh raspberry filling.  It was so delicious that even guests who didn't really like cake loved it! We loved working with Michelle! We showed up unannounced one day and Michelle spent the time to talk to us even though it was her day off. We loved all of the cakes that we tasted- it was so hard to decide what we wanted. We ended up doing a 4-tier cake alternating between red velvet and vanilla almond- delicious! Fiona's baked two cakes for me as well as 40 cupcakes for a surprise birthday party.  This was a short notice order (72 hours) as they normally require 5 days.  The cakes (lemon, chocolate) were superb; moist and the lemon curd outstanding.  The cupcakes, 6 different varieties, were also fantastic.  All were consumed by the attendees.  Micheal was great to work with and they we're very flexible as to picking up the cakes.  Highly recommend Fiona's!! My wedding was back in 2016, it was a summer wedding. Fiona was absolutely wonderful, not only did our cake look absolutely beautiful, but the taste was amazing - it was all eaten by the end! ! The only complaint/critique is that the sugared flowers we used for decoration were a bit challenging to find, and I had to really guess how much I would need. It would have been nicer if they had that connection with the facility so that I didn't have to do the extra digging for locations/pricing/where to ship. I've never been the biggest fan of wedding cake (so dry!), so I didn't want to spend a ton of our wedding budget on it. Half the people at the reception never end up eating it. When I had another vendor fall through, I found Fiona's by the Cake Faerie. I loved my first conversation with Michelle on the phone. I voiced how people never eat the cake. And she stated, well, they've never had MY cake. I promise you it will all be gone. And she was absolutely right. People raved about her cake all night and every last piece was gone. It was delicious! Not dry, tons of flavor. We had the lemon with raspberry filling. I still think about how delicious it was. She worked with my budget and produced a beautiful cutting cake with simple details and it was some of the yummiest cake I've ever had. I recommend her services to anyone wanted great cake! More...

Michelle the Cake Faerie is phenomenal. For nearly a decade, my mom owned a bakery so I've known that one day, I would be very particular with my wedding cake, especially how it tasted. My husband and I sampled one other bakery, whose flavors were not as good and whose price was more than double that from Fiona's. We loved Michelle herself, and her frosting and cake flavors were so much better. And her price was excellent! Michelle even took a phone call from my mom who had a whole bunch of questions before we even met! Embarrassing but thoughtful. Michelle didn't seem to mind it. Our wedding cake for 130 people was absolutely stunning. I showed her a picture of what we wanted and she did it without a hitch! She took the time to review the details with us, confirm the colors, offer alternatives, and provide us with our dream cake. The cream cheese frosting (my favorite - she has the BEST) was SO good and our fresh fruit was truly FRESH. The vanilla cake was moist and the flavors were exceptional. Thank you Cake Faerie! Delicious!!! I loved working with Michelle and we were extremely happy with our wedding cake! My husband and I have Celiac Disease and cannot have any gluten, but Michelle was super accommodating. When we had our tasting made she all of the options were gluten free- we were able to try vanilla and chocolate cake with a variety of fillings. She worked within our budget and clearly explained all of our options with sheet cakes, tiers, etc. In the end, the cake was beautifully designed and absolutely delicious. Michelle was very reliable and arrived at the venue on time (she transported it to the Eastern Shore for us). We ended up getting a sheet cake that was chocolate with chocolate filling, and a tiered cake with vanilla and a cream cheese and raspberry filling. The top tier was gluten free, and the rest of the cake was regular. We heard a lot of great things about the cake, and we were in love with our gluten free cake.
