When it came time to decide on a DJ for our wedding at the Grand Hall, my fiance was adamant that we book with Fernando Productions. There were no hesitations about booking with him because Fernando was the DJ at my brother-in-law's wedding three years ago. For the last three years, their guests raved about how amazing he was and now I know why! While working with Fernando, he was quick to respond to all of our questions and plans for our reception. Fernando was detail oriented and flexible in our final meeting. He helped us make a few last minute decisions that ended up making the reception even better than we had planned. He was very genuine and supportive of making our day more than we could have imagined. At our reception he had everyone out on the dance floor the minute it opened. He played music that several generations could enjoy. He never let a song fall flat, which kept our guests moving. Our guests that typically do not dance were even out on the dance floor! Fernando truly made our reception feel and look amazing! As the bride, I didn't even have time to enjoy our open bar because I was on the dance floor the entire night. Our guests had wonderful things to say about Fernando all night and the next day. We also booked the magic mirror for our photo booth. The mirror was different than your typical photo booth. So if you want to do something different but fun, book it! Not only did Fernando bring a ton of props, it was interactive and guests LOVED it. We had DJ Nick Shortino of Fernando Productions as our DJ. He was absolutely amazing and he was such an asset to our big day. I cannot tell you how many times we have had guests come up to us asking who our DJ was and telling us that he did such a great job! He was very professional and helped us stay on our wedding timeline, which is a hard task to do. He met with us several times before the big day and he was super helpful each time. Nick was great at keeping our guests on the dance floor the entire reception. He had a great mix of music for the older guests, as well as for the younger crowd. They also set up our photo booth (we used the Magic Mirror) and guests loved it. They even got to take a copy of their photobooth pictures home with them and we got a copy to go in an album. DJ Fernando is hands down the best DJ ever! He will not disappoint in any way. A few years ago my now-husband attended one of our friend’s wedding. That night, not once did we leave the dance floor. When I asked about the DJ, the bride said it was DJ Fernando. It was then that I knew I needed him to DJ my wedding.

Fast forward to our wedding day (about 1 month ago) we were lucky enough to book him for our wedding! He kept the party going alllll night long!! Per usual, my husband and I stayed on the dance floor all night. We still have many of our wedding guests compliment how amazing he is.

Fernando was KEY in making our wedding day so special. My (bride) family is originally from Argentina and Fernando was the perfect addition to our wedding as he speaks both Spanish and English. All of the guests were raving about how great the music was and they were so happy to see the mix between our cultures. It was absolutely phenomenal. Fernando did more than exceed our expectations. We had DJ Carl for our engagement party in Kansas City this August and it was a great time! From the beginning, the whole experience with Fernando Productions was smooth, clear, and professional.
Carl did a fantastic job at our event and took the time to meet with us before the event and discuss our vision and what we wanted. He helped us in the planning and was very supportive and proactively brought great ideas to the table!

Fernando was the DJ for our daughter and son-in-law's Wedding Reception at The Abbott on June 29, 2019. Fernando was awesome! He was great to work with from the moment we engaged him. Our pre-event meeting went very smoothly. He had sent us a link to the event site prior to the meeting and our daughter had already entered some of the information for her vision of the evening. We went over the plans for the evening from the moment the reception began through the end of the evening. During the meeting Fernando asked great questions which would help allow him to guide the events of the evening. We discussed everything from the music for the first dance, father-daughter dance and mother-son dance to the uplighting. On the evening of the wedding, Fernando started with meeting the wedding party in the back room to prepare them for their grand entrance. From the moment we began the reception, he was phenomenal! We used DJ Mike with Fernando Productions for our reception. We could not be happier. The DJ was organized, professional, and friendly from day one of planning. On our event day he showed up early, was set up, looked sharp and was ready to go. From the second guests arrived until the event was over, there was no dead sound or awkward silent times. If you do not use DJ Fernando for your wedding you are missing out on the party of a lifetime. Fernando helped us create the perfect energy for our wedding. We met with Fernando multiple times as well as emailed and texted as needed. He listened to our wishes and helped us to create an evening that flowed beautifully from one thing to the next. We had a couple unique requests and Fernando exceeded expectations. First, my groom and I decided that our ceremony would be just family while our reception was all of our friends and family. Fernando helped us to create a recording of our vows to play with a video and music before we were introduced so those not in attendance at the ceremony were able to hear a part of our ceremony. He made this work seamlessly which was a hit at our reception. Second, my mom and I could not narrow down our mother/daughter dance song so Fernando mixed two songs together which was perfect for my mom and I and our guests loved it! Fernando played music that went with our wishes and the vibe of the room. He mixed different songs in as needed to build the energy and keep people dancing all night. We also rented the mirrored Photo Booth. When Fernando first explained it to us it sounded really cool but then using it was another experience. Fernando is the best DJ that you are going to find for your event. Being a DJ requires a lot more than playing music for people to dance to (which he is seriously the best at). The DJ has to be the motor behind the entire event, and that is exactly what Fernando was for us! He is an excellent MC that knows how to properly guide the flow of the event so that everyone involved can have as much confidence as he has. Fernando met with us prior to our event (our wedding) and we went through music we wanted and other things relating to the run of show. You could immediately tell how much Fernando loves what he does and how professional he carries himself.

Would give 10 stars if it was an option! DJ Fernando was amazing to work with from the very first meeting to showtime on the big day. A true professional that knows how to get the party started and more importantly how to KEEP IT GOING! We have been to countless weddings over the past couple years (as most do between the age of 25-35) and we can truly say the dance floor was full from the moment it opened, until the venue closed. Fantastic! Fernando was perfect. Very professional and was in constant communication with us during the planning process. He provided all the equipment required (including hand held microphones) and set up himself day of the wedding . We also had extra up-lighting that changed throughout the evening to match the atmosphere (different lighting for dinner verses the dancing) it made the reception look magical! He was an amazing MC and the transitions were wonderful. There was not a bad song played all night long and he actually faded in and out of songs so there was no silence in between which means the party never stopped! We had so many people on the dance floor the whole night. It was our perfect party and DJ Fernando should claim some of the credit for this. There were no sound issues, expect once when there was a power shortage, but Fernando was on it and the party continued for the 30 seconds of silence. I originally had a DJ that completely flaked on me and a friend recommended Fernando due to his amazing professional skills DJing and the photo mirror! My husband and I met with a bunch of vendors, and when he met Fernando he said he was dedicated to his craft and a true professional. He was prompt to our wedding and kept the party moving. There was never one time I was like, uh whats going on? The photo mirror was a huge success, especially if you have kids attending the wedding. Everyone thought it was so much fun! DJ Jared was an awesome vendor to work with for this out-of-town bride! We Skyped with Jared and we immediately liked his vibe and could tell he would bring a lot of experience to our vendor team to make our day just how we wanted it! We got to create our list on our own time using the online portal and loved that we could have a “No play” list that he stuck to! We had a Rat Pack/Frank Sinatra theme for the cocktail hour but a jumpin’ party for the dance after dinner. He was great at reading the crowd for what songs people were feeling and which dropped like a lead balloon so the dance floor was always full. He is a true DJ so the songs transitioned like in a club with no awkward pauses or just himself talking. He checked in with us before and during dinner to make sure we could adjust the timeline as needed and to double-check the fine details. Two of the most personal touches of our wedding happened because of his professionalism: He played a recording of my grandfather saying the meal blessing (since he could not attend) that my mother had recorded on her iPhone that brought the room to tears. He also helped us with our first dance since we had our Grand Entrance and then went right into the dance. The song was not long enough for us to make it across the ballroom to the dance floor so he had mixed the song a little so we could move right into our choreography. We had the crowd cheering on their feet in a minute because the transition was so smooth you would have thought we rehearsed it a dozen times! We cannot recommend him enough! More...
