I've been training with Fast Pace PT for almost 4 months, and have been very pleased with the results. I've had a decent number of injuries in the past, and was initially concerned that I wouldn't make progress. John was thorough in understanding my starting limitations and how to overcome them. Not only have I seen an increase in strength, the pain I experienced over the past 2 years has reduced considerably. John is also incredibly professional and really knows his stuff in terms of how to address each individual's body differently. Fast Pace is a perfect name since I really feel like he customizes an exercise plan unique to me. He identified several asymmetries right away and gave me exercises and stretches that helped SO much! John did a great intake upfront to understand my goals and my style and then connect me with the right trainer in his network, Nate. I've worked with Nate for the last year, and he's awesome! He helped me get in shape for my wedding, with awesome results. Most importantly, Nate listened to me and what I wanted to achieve and tailored the sessions accordingly, he was flexible about scheduling, and he is just a fun person to hang out with while training. I was happy that we were able to train outdoors, in the park, which I preferred during COVID. Nate has introduced me to a huge variety of exercises, using TRX, bands, body weights, bars, and dumb bells, which kept things interesting. Excellent team of trainers. I´m in my 3rd  month working with John and his team and I lost so far 17 lbs. What helped me the most was the nutritional plan that John put on. The other missing piece that was addressed by John and his team is consistency. I use to train for a few weeks on my own, then I used to lack the motivation to carry on training. Since I started with John, I had days that I lacked the motivation to show up to the gym, yet I couldn´t because John and his held me accountable to my weekly goals.I want to give a shout-out to John and his team for their support and drive. Great service by John and his team, I trained with Fast Pace PT for 4 months, and during those months I lost 30 lbs.I had lost weight with other trainers before, but the big difference with John is that a year after I trained with him I kept those 30 lbs. off (give and take 1 or 2 lbs). This is amazing!!Working out for me became a no brainer, even if I´m feeling down or not in the mood, my body takes me to the gym on autopilot. John set me up for new habits at the beginning of the training program with him, and sure enough, he delivered. I´m a foody guy, I love food, yet with John, I learned how to eat and enjoy food without overeating and struggling with extra calories later. Not sure if he's a good trainer or not, he definitely works out - but the business model is pretty sketchy. After an initial sales pitch call, I was told I had to speak with the owner John Ferraro in order to proceed. In order to schedule that call I had to give my credit card number and put down a $1 deposit. Apparently that's because if I fail to make the call they can charge $100 and be compensated for their time. When I said I wasn't comfortable giving my card info before agreeing to service, John told me I obviously wasn't committed to my health or getting in shape. In June of 2021, I decided that it was time to get healthy. I looked around online and stumbled upon John and Fast Pace. I was a fitness novice. I never went to the gym, never worked out, and didn't know how any of the equipment in the gym worked. I was even nervous about getting on the treadmill. None of that mattered to John. He was ready to get me healthier and treated me with the utmost respect as a client. One of the things that worried me was that this was not in-person personal training. How would I learn workouts without having John or someone there to do it with me every step of the way? John convinced me that having a trainer physically present is 1) not necessary and 2) potentially counterproductive, as one never feels compelled to learn on their own and figure out a sustainable path forward when the coach is always in the room. From our initial Zoom consultation where John got to know me and my areas of greatest need to our regular conversations about workouts and nutrition, John was exactly what I needed in a trainer. John is dedicated to his clients, cares deeply about their success, and understands that the path to good health requires attention both to diet/nutrition and fitness. And he's an expert in all of this. If you're willing to put in the work, I strongly recommend giving John and Fast Pace a try. And, as your fitness goals change, they're flexible enough to keep up, both in terms of the plans they offer and the attention they give. 7 months into my time with John, I have lost almost 40 pounds and feel better than I've ever felt. Fast pace personal training was a life changer for me! I came in with past injuries, and they helped work around them to keep my goals on track. The trainers are amazing- Erroll is so supportive, motivating, and genuinely caring about your success. Stephanie is an excellent nutritionist who has been such a blessing during this process of weight loss - she made it easy by changing up the diet, which gave results that were not only sustainable but effective too! I have tried everything over the years to lose weight from all types of workouts (HITT, Cardio, Weightlifting), diets high or low fat & sugar content, Keto; nothing really seemed like something worth doing because there wasn't much difference if at all any changes in body composition until now thanks to the amazing team."I never thought I'd be able to look in the mirror and feel this confident without ever stepping into a gym! John is the best trainer I've ever worked with, and I've worked with probably a dozen or so. First and foremost, he knows his craft, and knows it well. I've seen him work with other clients and what jumped out at me most was how different he was with each of them. This indicated to me that he takes the time to create solutions based on who you are and where you want to go. In addition to his technical abilities, he has phenomenal interpersonal skills which I found quite rewarding. His emotional intelligence allows him to work with you regardless of your mood, because he is constantly adjusting his approach to you to make your workout be a rewarding one. My sister and I were referred to John to help us get in shape for her wedding. We are both pretty active and have dabbled with personal training in the past, but my experience with John is by far the best yet! John outlines a personalized meal plan along with workouts targeted specifically for your goals. John helped us not only understand our macro split but also when we should be eating what, which was huge!! The app workouts will push you hard and are so handy with descriptions and videos for reference. John not only clearly knows what he's doing and the science behind it, but he also was so incredibly friendly, checked in frequently and was always available via text/phone to answer questions. John is an amazing trainer. He is professional, always on time, and perpetually energetic. Even on days where I felt worn down, he managed to get me energized. He also understood what I wanted to achieve and was very focused on my goals.

I first started my fitness journey after learning my body fat percentage had hit a personal high of 27%. It was then I decided to make health a priority in my life and start taking exercise and nutrition seriously. I signed up for Thumbtack and put out a request for a trainer near my home. John was one of the first to respond. We spoke on the phone about my goals and then scheduled a free consultation where we practiced a few basic movements and took my measurements.

After our consultation, I committed to 20 personal training sessions. In each session, John tailors exercises with my goals in mind, and pushes me beyond what I think I'm capable of. He is always mixing up exercises to keep things interesting and my body guessing. John has me training with everything from kettle bells and cables, to rowing machines and TRX. In addition to the challenging workouts, John is consistent and reliable. He sends calendar invites for our scheduled training sessions and lets me know in advance if he needs to reschedule.

It's now been nearly 18 months since we first started training. I've lost inches of body fat and gained confidence and energy. I look forward to our training sessions and even have my boyfriend hooked on couple workouts with John. :) I cannot recommend him enough for those ready to commit to a healthy lifestyle.

John got me to my goal. And he was REAL. Way honest. He was nice and knowledgeable but he didn't sugar coat what I really needed to do.

I told him I wanted to do 5 pull ups (couldn't even do half of one to start). He laid out a plan, told me that with my lifestyle it would truly take at least 3 months. He changed up my diet (which I didn't always follow...) but he showed me I could eat what I want a couple times a week, creating balance with a focus on eating what would get me to my goal. I truly needed the nutritional help.

John was extremely professional, kept his eye on my alignment, encouraged me when I did well, fired me up when I needed a push, and answered all of my random texts and calls. He would alter my written weekly workouts if I didn't feel I could do something on my own and then made sure to show me the way when we had another in person session. I could go on. But the best part is that I can now do 5 pull ups. I feel mighty at 5'1"!!!

There is no magic to reaching a fitness goal...really any goal. You just have to work hard and that's what I learned from John. I had to want it bad enough. Honestly, paying someone was enough of an inspiration in some ways. I didn't want to waste my money by being lazy. I listened to the professional. John is the second personal trainer I have hired. I won't be looking for a third. I will be continuing with his monthly programming and jumping into some group sessions when I need that extra energy.

I've been working with John for about 10 weeks now, and I've seen lots of progress towards my goals. Something I really value about Fast Pace PT is the customized 12 week program designed for you based on your goals. Working in tech can mean juggling a demanding schedule, and his program has both given me the flexibility I need and the tools to be successful. Along with explicit instructions attached to each day's exercise program, John includes "How-To" videos to help clients understand how to execute each exercise with confidence. I also really value being able to easily reach John on a moment's notice, should I have a question on an exercise or anything relating to the program designed for me. I've been working out with John for a little over 2 months now and he's been amazing. He is very knowledgable about everything fitness, body-building, nutrition. .. He tailors the workout based on your goals and body. In my case, I wanted to put on some muscle. In our first meeting, he assessed what my strengths/weaknesses were and built me a workout plan based on it. He is also very quick to respond at any time of the day and also accommodates workouts based on your schedule(I travel a bunch). The workouts are super challenging but feels great when you are done. John's program is exactly what I want: he's setting me up with a set of exercises that I can do on my own after the initial 12 weeks. I didn't want to be in a situation where I needed to be seeing a trainer on an ongoing basis. I want to be self-sufficient in the long run, maybe check in for a few weeks once a year or something. John is a great trainer, I try to see him about every other week at least. He keeps you motivated through his workouts and motivated between workouts. It is so easy to text him for workouts, nutrition advice or even just to send a pick of you fitting in some smaller clothes and he is always responsive.
