Melissa nailed what I wanted for floral design for my friend. I called from out of state and gave her some visual direction and a budget. What she delivered was creative, elegant, stunning, creative and on point. My friend (and I!) both LOVED the arrangement she crafted. It’s incredible. Highly recommend this floral designer. Elegant, unique and high end florals. I avoid Teleflora and pre-fab arrangements because you often don’t get what is shown on the website photo in quality or volume. So I always seek out going directly to the florist and giving direction like no carnations, baby’s breath or ferns ... and Melissa gave me my money’s worth and beyond. The floral elements were off the charts: peony, ranuncula, a branch of cotton (unreal) and quail feather, amongst other unusual and wonderful floral elements. Incredible. As an out-of-towner, I’m always nervous ordering flowers with a new company. Too often, the arrangements have been sad and skimpy, compared to what I thought was being sent. The photos I saw online were more of what I was looking for so I decided to give this place a try. I’m glad I did. When I spoke to the owner and she described the types of flowers just received, along with her collection of recycled containers, I knew they were a great choice for me. I hired FarmCity Flowers because they came highly recommendation from a long time resident of Beaufort, who also is a master gardener. Melissa and I communicated by phone and e-mail so she would get the idea of what my Sisters and I wanted for the arrangement surrounding my Mothers Urn in the church and and arrangement for the cemetery for our Mother's funeral. She did a beautiful job using the types of flowers and colors our Mother would have wanted. Everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly. We live in Columbia and I wasn’t sure which florist to use in Beaufort. Our in-laws had just lost their precious dog and we wanted to send them flowers. Planning an out of town wedding is hard but with people like Melissa from Farmcity Flowers, it makes everything a breeze. Even with some email issues in the beginning (not anyone’s fault), our flowers turned out great for the wedding ! I told Melissa what our color scheme was and that hydrangeas were important to me. I didn’t see any arrangement prior to our wedding because I lived on the West coast (and I felt I could trust her).
