We were pleasantly surprised when we had the good fortune to find The Fancy Fig Cafe in Wrightstown (Newtown ) Pa. The food both breakfast and lunch was outstanding, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. The Cafe location was beautifully pastoral, the restuarant was comfortable, upscale and elegant. The wait staff was pleasant and the manager Anthony was very friendly, generous and accommodating. I don't remember the last time I enjoyed a restaurant more. We had dynamite walnut banana pancakes ( thick and fluffy), exceptionally tasty tuna fish salad and a savory chicken sandwich. Their Cappuchino coffee matched with black and white frosted cupcake ended a delightfull meal. This place is awesome. Great service, awesome food and the best coffee. My burger was great with avocado and aioli. Wife really enjoyed her omelet with shrimp. This place is by far the best place if you want class A service and food that you would call comfort food. This place the Fancy Dig is more then just a 5 rating it's a 101% in all of the service , quality of food and a taste that is far above an eatery you will love. Their baked goodies, and salads like egg and chicken once again = like your mother made when you were a child. My favorite and a most is their pancakes, talk about comfort food yed the best and with a piece of scrapper with your pancakes # 1. I met with Lisa to discuss catering our upcoming wedding and immediately felt a connection with her. She spent over an hour with me sharing her ideas and I felt she knew my exact image of our wedding day. I left our meeting knowing I wanted Fancy Fig to cater our wedding without even trying their food. A few weeks later my fiancé and our parents met with Lisa for a food tasting and she completely out did herself. Not only was the food amazing, the presentation was great and Lisa was so easy to talk to. She is down to earth and really enjoys what she does and it shows. The Fancy fig catered a dinner at our home for 9 guests. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Butternut squash bisque was creamy and yummy,
Roasted Beets, goat cheese, Marcona almonds, arugula salad with blush vinaigrette was perfect and the Entree’ of Herb Crusted French Veal Chop with a Wild Mushroom Ragu, Mashed Potatoes & Brussel Sprouts with crispy Pancetta was a huge hit! Besides the food being great, they took care of everything during the party with ease and left my kitchen clean and dishes/Crystal washed and dried.

I love this spot. It's a local coffee shop, tucked away in a commercial shopping center. It's got amazing, fresh food that doesn't break that bank and doesn't make you feel guilty to have gone out to breakfast. The ladies that work there are kind and personable. The coffee is great. There are Gluten free options. They tout their quiches (not that I've tried them). They also seem to push their salads (egg, chicken, etc) which are all great as well.

The best part is that you can sit outside, at an umbrella-ed table with service out there and enjoy the small gardens around the commercial units.

Personally, this is my favorite coffee shop to work out of in the morning. I sit outside with a laptop sometimes on the phone wandering around the gardens.

Some things I've eaten here... Gluten free toast with overeasy eggs, avocado, and breakfast potatos. Farmers omelette with peppers and onions inside and a side of fruit. Eggsalad sandwich on gluten free toast.

Pro tip- Make sure when you sit outside you ask for a to go cup and grab a refill on coffee before you leave. More...

Have to five star this place for coolness and uniqueness, and the food was also excellent. There used to be another restaurant here that I never went to, and couldn't believe that I hadn't been here sooner. Haven't been a big fan of eating out for breakfast, but I may change my mind after this experience. We had great pancakes, excellent breakfast sandwich, and a very nice quiche! The kids also loved the muffins. They messed up our order, but couldn't have been nicer about correcting the bill. There is also some kind of a brunch bar that I would have tried out, but you have to know to bring alcohol. Will have to come back here for one of their monthly dinners. I've been eating porkroll egg and cheese sandwiches my entire life... today I had the greatest sandwich Ive ever tasted. Absolutely gratifying, their Sour Cherry Peach Cobbler is devilshly good. Served warm, with a side of vanilla ice cream, one will find themselves unable to remember the days problems as the flavor pleases the palate and leaves the stomach begging for seconds. The relaxing atmosphere allows tranquility during the finale' of fresh brewed coffee.
