Shalla took the best head shot of me ever. She had been contracted to take head shots at the Granite State HR Conference in Manchester. I walked in, two minutes were done, and she captured 10 images of which it was hard to select from five of them. I can't imagine what magic would be possible in a studio setting. Shalla and Meghan were one of the funnest parts of our wedding day. We had no idea what to expect, but it was nice to get away from the chaos and run around with them for awhile. They were funny, creative, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. I was not comfortable in a poofy wedding dress (more of a jeans and tshirt type girl), but they were just so much fun and provided such great direction that it made it easy for us. If you are looking for someone who can capture the warmth, humanity, and love on your big day, go with Eye Sugar. We were super happy to get FB sneak peaks within a week after the wedding, digital photos from the wedding in ONE MONTH, and the 'eye sugared' versions not long after that. Let me count all the ways we LOVE ESP!! Honestly thought where shall I begin? The ever so beautiful (both inside and out) Shalla picked our family 4 years ago to us to gift a family photo session (a friend entered us, we were unaware and so grateful for this gift). Let me tell you that we were absolutely blown away by how incredibly amazing Shalla’s work is. She is beyond talented and we are ever so grateful for her hard work and creativity. Then at a later date I was at a charity event when I saw Shalla was at it again. Shalla had gifted a photo session to the auction and I just had to bid on it, and I won!! We had another incredible photo session with such treasured photos. Then this past year my son was admitted to Boston Children’s as he had to wait inpatient for a full heart transplant. We didn’t know what the outcome would be, and we knew we’d be waiting for a while. Shalla to our amazement reached out and asked to GIFT another photo shoot, this time in the hospital. Not knowing if my son would make it out or not, I was embarrassed I hadn’t thought of it. She refused compensation. I was, as I always am with her work, overwhelmed with her extra kindness (She had never met us before picking us for a gifted session mind you). Shalla came to Boston Children’s for the day, spent hours that day in our hospital room capturing my son. She really gets to know your family and you can tell how invested and passionate she is. Shalla then gave us ALL of the photo’s she took of our son that day, they brought tears to my eyes. We are delighted to say our son received the gift of life and we are now home. Shalla, once again reached out to do our first Christmas session with his new heart. The talent she has, the gifts she’s given our family that’ll be cherished for a lifetime. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about Shalla or ESP. You don’t often meet so much talented with an over sized heart like she has. She has captured the most amazing photos of our son, and our family in both our happiest moments and our scariest moments that are worth more than gold. We had the pleasure of meeting the ladies at Eye Sugar 7 years ago when we were looking for a wedding photographer. Upon meeting Shalla and Megan we instantly connected and knew they were the perfect fit for us. Little did we know that they would become such a special part of our lives. We booked Shalla for our wedding and had an engagement session done. They made our save the dates and also created our wedding invitations! While most of our fellow newlywed friends had to wait months and months for their pictures, we received ours quickly. They also saved us on our wedding day, as our wedding coordinator was a no show. The gals showed up early to scope out areas for group/individual pictures and then also assisted in guiding us through our timeline on our big day. They were lifesavers!!!! We always talk about how they stepped in and helped facilitate one of the most important days in our life. They took a great amount of time to patiently help us choose photos to create our wedding album and pick out canvases for our home. The quality is hands down, top notch. When we found out we were expecting, we immediately contacted them (Even before some of our family members knew!) to do a baby announcement. They did my maternity session and made me feel so comfortable and confident with my body. It was great to have such an intimate shoot and be in such a positive environment. We had our daughters newborn, 6 month, 1 year and Fairy Day photos taken, too. We look forward to booking many more sessions over the years with Eye Sugar to capture our special family moments. I think every room in our house has at least one picture hung that they have taken and we always receive compliments on how beautiful they are. I really didn't know if I wanted to do engagement photos but my friends talked me into it. I started with Eye Sugar Photography because I love Shalla's work! I sent a message on Monday and Megan responded in minutes. The info Megan shared was really easy to digest and not overwhelming. She was so accommodating and attentive to my wishes.... Megan & Shalla...one word...AMAZING!!! Eye Sugar did my best friends wedding a few years ago...when I saw them in action and was not even engaged yet, I knew I would have Eye Sugar for my wedding day! Which I did!! From doing our engagement pictures, save the dates, my wedding day and now my thank you cards...they are just amazing!! So easy to work with and very easy going. We reached out to Eye Sugar a couple days after our son was born in March. Little did we know that you are supposed to book infant photos well in advance and that you have a limited window to get them done. Other places couldn't accommodate us, and in hindsight, we were so luck that they couldn't, because all their no's led us to Eye Sugar. Shalla & Megan went out of their way to make room in their schedule for us, made us feel incredibly welcome & comfortable and ultimately took some infant / family photos that we will relish forever. My husband and I have been using Eye Sugar since we were expecting our first child in 2011. We have now used them several times since to capture timeless and beautiful family photos with both our daughter and son. We just had our son's one year photo shoot earlier today and they put up an amazing set. Shalla's talent in capturing such breathtaking images is truly unprecedented. She also has two amazing assistants by her side. Megan and Lydia are upbeat, helpful, and always get back to you in a timely manner. This group of ladies always makes sure you get exactly the style of images you are looking for and that you walk away satisfied. If Shalla keeps shooting, we'll never look for another photographer ever again. My only regret is that I wish I had known about them sooner so that they could've photographed our wedding as well. Where do I start... I am the husband that doesn't like to do the pictures, doesn't want to do all the goofy stuff my wife wants me to do for the pictures. Shalla makes it fun and always gets us laughing. She does great editing and always makes us look better than we really do it person. I see comments about pricing and do admit that it isn't cheap. When you stop and think about rent for a location, the cost of the equipment and time it takes to edit I understand the cost. That being said this a great example of you get what you pay for. Great service, great quality, and all at a good price. This is not picture people or school pictures. It's a professional with years of experience that works for you making you look your best.
