Executive Pet Services was established in 2009 by Ashley Watkins and Brenton Dickerson. We originally operated in Knox County, OH as part of our sister company, Executive Stables. However, we now provide service to the Cleveland, OH area. The Owners and staff have a combined 30 years of experience with Dogs, Cats, Small animals ("Pocket Pets"), and horses.
When the company was founded, Ashley and Brenton were the only two team members, but they were able to garner the help of Teresa Watkins, owner of Executive Stables, when the need would arise. Our first clients were three Chincoteague Ponies, a Great Dane, and two Collies.
With those very first clients, our mission was to provide an “Executive Level” of service to anyone who needed time away but, unfortunately, their pets couldn’t travel with them. Most of our Knox County clients were owners of farms and ranches.


Today, we strive to create the “Pawsitively Purrfect” pet care experience to the over one hundred pets we care for.
While dogs and cats make up about 90% of our furry friends, we also have birds, reptiles, pocket pets, farm animals and even insect colonies.


With our Mission Statement, “Pawsitively Purrfect” we set the goal of being an excellent alternative to boarding and kenneling.

We know you have A LOT of options when it comes to pet care. Obviously, we're going to work hard to earn and keep your trust. But what makes us different and why do we believe we are heads and tails above other pet care options?


It's starts right from the beginning. Our employees (not contractors) are invited to join our team only after a rigorous seven-step selection process that begins the moment they apply and includes background checks and other testing. Thousands of applications are received per month ,out of which about two, on average, are hired.


We also believe we can always get and be better. That is why we partner with FetchFind, an industry leader in online training and continuing education for pet care professionals. All of our employees become Pet Care Specialists through this and hands-on, in the field training. They also become PetTech First Aid and CPR Certified, which we believe is an important part of being a professional pet care provider. We want you to feel and know that your pets are in the best hands possible, even in the event of an emergency.


Executive Pet Services, while a small, local business is BIG on heart and understanding. We have years of experience caring for several types of pets in every stage of life. From puppy-hood to the rainbow bridge, we'll be there.


Finally, our clients rave about us. 90% of our business is word-of-mouth. If we didn't have the reputation we do, we simply would not survive as a business so we work hard to keep our good standing. Our services are a personal and in-person service. However, since we work with animals and most of the time our clients are not home when we do care for their pets, we are in a low-risk industry. We maintain very limited person to person contact or interaction.

We are now also offering FREE Virtual Meet n' Greets for most pets. This helps us get to know you and your pet (and vice versa) remotely. In some circumstances we may still need to evaluate your pet in person to be sure they are a great fit for our service.

ExecuPets takes everyone's well-being seriously. We have implemented the use of face masks when indoors or when social distancing isn't as easy, increased our hygiene policies and limited use of client-provided equipment. We can also adjust to concerns you may have and keep everyone safe and healthy.
