One word - AMAZING! Debra was my wedding day of Coordinator and I don’t know what I would’ve have done without her. Debra went above and beyond to make sure we had the most memorable day. I was able to contact her any day at anytime. When I wasn’t available to do things she went in my place! Planning a wedding during a pandemic means a lot of a changes and Debra rolled with all the punches. I never had a situation that she didn’t handle quick, fast and in a hurry! Debra was extremely organized and accommodating. We had a lot of changes due to COVID. She kept us up to date with everything that was going on and offered a voice of reason and re assured me that everything will be “okay”. Her pre planning process was structured and thorough. We had some unexpected changes the day of and was not able to follow it as strictly as we planned, but her team was amazing and flexible. The most professional, go get it, hard working, amazing hearted team and leader I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! !! Debra and her team were not just doing the wedding, they really took all the worry off of me and my bride!!! Had an issue with the cake they made sure it was corrected, picked up and set up at the venue. What do you love most about your job?
Event planning, for me, is not a job. It is a labor of love. It is an overwhelming feeling of joy and excitement when my clients tell me that the events that I have designed and planned for them have exceeded their highest expectations. This is my goal and what I love to do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Debra’s Details & Designs really came about by accident. Debra attended a personality seminar offered at her church in February 2015 which helped her to recognize some talents that had been overlooked. Quite by fluke, she enrolled in an introduction to wedding planning course to try out these newly identified gifts and the rest is history. That introductory course lit a flame that has become Debra’s Details & Designs.
