We were very happy with our entire experience with Europe Construction.  From the very beginning we felt that our project was in good hands.  George showed us cabinet, sink, and handle options in the showroom, came to our house and made suggestions and measurements, then presented us with a sketch of what the new kitchen would look like.  It was exactly what we wanted and more because thoughtful changes were presented like widening an entry way we have and changing the way our door opened.  Both of those seemingly small changes made a big difference in our day to day lives after the project was complete.   When the construction phase began, it was also outstanding.  The workers arrived on time every day and when we arrived home in the evening there was always a huge portion of the project complete.  I also really valued the communication between Sergiy and Tony before, during and after the project.  I could text a question to them and they would quickly reply thus making for a stress-free project.  Not only was the work superb, but they treated us as valued customers.  They handled it all - demo, building the cabinets, re-plumbing work for our sink and dishwasher, electrical modifications, installing LED lighting, painting, installing the floor, etc.  We are very happy and would do business with them again! I don’t write reviews frequently but I felt compelled to write one on Europe Construction. I recently contracted with them to do some work on my kitchen. My next door neighbor had just done a fairly comprehensive overhaul of their kitchen and things had run way over schedule and probably over budget but I am speculating on the latter. I was a little hesitant based on their experience as well as previous remodel experiences I had had on while living on the East Coast. After doing some research, I decided to go with Europe Construction to replace our outdated countertops with quartz as well as replace the sink and provide a tiled backsplash. Long story short: Europe was fantastic in all regards. Their pricing was competitive, communication was outstanding and the people that did the work were top notch. They completed on time and best of all, with an impeccable level of quality. My wife and I were so relieved that we didn’t have to live through one of the horror stories you hear about when dealing with contractors. We have additional work that we intend to do on our home. Europe Construction recently completed a kitchen remodel for our home and did a fantastic job. Everything was completed on time and on budget with no surprises. It's been a year and a half since our kitchen was finished and I still absolutely love it! No regrets. They removed a soffit, opened a wall and added an extra 4 feet to the length of the kitchen. We had Europe Construction come out and give us a bid on refacing our kitchen cabinets and installing new countertops last year. After a bid from a well known refacing company I was pleasantly surprised by Sergiy's vision and price to completely remodel our kitchen. It was a no-brainer who we were going with. I waited to review this for a year to see how everything held up. I'm still in love with my new kitchen and want to thank Europe Construction for their expertise and timeliness at getting this job done. Understandably as we were their furthest job (we live in Oceanside) there were days nothing happened up here but they still finished in a timely manner. This review is long overdue!  We used Europe Construction for a complete kitchen remodel on our 1977 condo last September/October.  My husband and I were so pleased with the entire experience and just love our kitchen.  The kitchen still looks as good as the day it was completed. There is no issue with quality of the work.  Everything is holding up great! We get so many compliments on the kitchen from our friends and family. My husband did a lot of research before selecting EC.  Sonny was our first impression of EC and was such a pleasure to work with.  Sergiy came out and shared his thoughts on our vision.  We loved his ideas for making our kitchen more functional, especially without adding additional cost. I particularly appreciated the more symmetrical look that was given to our kitchen. He clearly is a master of his craft. I was impressed with the speedy demolition process. Great care was given to removing the old kitchen and not damaging any existing parts of our home.  As we were not replacing our tile/laminate floors I was so worried the floors in the kitchen and dining room would not be left in perfect condition or line up properly with the new cabinetry. Paul, our fantastic project manager, reassured me the floors would be fine and he delivered on that. Paul was great at responding to our concerns and letting us know the next steps of the project.  He even recently came out to fix a hinge on our kitchen cabinet!  I give an A+ to the plumber, cabinet installers, tiler (I think Fidel was his name), and the counter top installers. They were quick, experienced, and paid close attention to detail. My only two critiques which is why gave 4 instead of 5 stars (wish I could have really given 4.5 stars) would be sticking to the project timeline and dry wall repair on the ceiling.  We had to have EC fix one area twice where a recessed light was installed. We had to point out that the repair didn't match the rest of the ceiling and was an eye sore.  EC was responsive and fixed it promptly.  Later we noticed there was another area where the dry wall on the ceiling needed correction but this hasn't been rectified yet.  Unfortunately I wasn't home for the last bit of work to be able to do a walk through and point this significant flaw out.  EC did go over by several weeks of when they said the project would be completed. Fortunately our schedules were flexible to accommodate this. Sergiy did acknowledge this and offered his apologies with some lovely treats. I really appreciated his gesture.  Overall our experience with EC was awesome.  We rave about EC and recommend them to all our friends and neighbors.  We will certainly be using them for our next project! We recently had our kitchen remodeled, including taking a wall down, so it was more of a "most of our house" remodel. Pros: Team stayed on schedule and work was completed in 5 weeks and 2 days. (We were told project would take 4-5 weeks)The price I paid was very close to what I would have paid if I were to have subcontracted out all the jobs (and managed it myself).One of the workers, Vladimir, was incredibly precise with cutting the flooring and baseboards and making it look beautiful (over our tile-which we didn't demo).At the end of the project, there was a lot of misc. small stuff I wanted taken care of, and Paul/team took care of it all (like caulking between some of the walls and cabinets).The team cleaned up after themselves each day they worked.The team was trustworthy and honest and I didn't mind them being in my home when I wasn't there.Cons: some of the cabinet drawers don't have full sides so you can't fill up the drawers; I wish I would have known about this because I would have said my drawers need to have full sides. The project manager, Paul, could have communicated better to me. There were some times when he needed information from me (like exact location of island) and I needed to be home for that but that wasn't communicated to me. Paul was excellent about answering his phone and texts, though. I was able to work some hours from home, so I was home for a few hours each day so I didn't miss much.Overall, I'd definitely use Europe Construction again! More...

We used Europe Construction for a remodel on a home we bought that was built in 1980 and seemed to have been left in that year. It was a full remodel and we used EC to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms as well as our flooring. Sergiy was great to deal with. He's a no nonsense guy and I appreciated that about dealing with him as we were able to get straight to the point and hammer out specifics. EC went above and beyond my expectations regarding customer service because about a week into their remodel project, our landscaper dug up all the concrete in the front yard and had a 3 week delay in putting in new concrete due to the torrential rain that we got on all those consecutive weeks in February. EC just kept on working and lugged all materials through the mud without the help of any hand trucks because there was no concrete in the front. They also paid careful attention to all of our little nits, and trust me we had plenty. The home looks great and I would highly recommend Sergiy and company to anyone. More...

We decided that it was time to remodel our old 1970s kitchen.  An acquaintance had recommended Europe Construction.  We got in touch with Sergiy (the owner) and he came out quickly to take measurements and to talk about possibilities for the kitchen.  His bid seemed competitive (we didn't shop around much but it seemed in the ballpark of what we had been told to expect).  He was very professional and open about costs, and the final cost of the remodel was quite close to what he had projected -- there were no unpleasant surprises.  He didn't try to talk us into anything that we didn't need or want.  Donna was extremely helpful and enthusiastic in working with us on the design and helping us to pick out cabinets.   Everyone was good about answering questions and giving us advice when we needed it.  We were a little dubious when they told us that the work could be done in less than a month once the cabinets had come in, but most of it really was completed in 3-4 weeks, starting with the demolition of the old kitchen and ending up with a beautiful new kitchen that was also much more functional than the old one.  Paul and the installation crew were very fast and efficient.  We had heard some horror stories from friends who had used other contractors about kitchen remodels that had taken months longer than projected and contractors that had disappeared or had to be fired in the middle of their projects, so it was a relief to have it all done so quickly, without any serious problems.  There were a few minor glitches along the way (which would be hard to avoid in any major remodel) but Sergiy and the team did their best to make things right, which we really appreciated.  We've been using our new kitchen for about three months now and love it! We shopped around a lot for a contractor for a kitchen remodel, and we are so glad to have came across Europe Construction. Sergiy came out to do measurements, and he brought up some design ideas that we could have done to utilize our space more efficiently. We have a 762 sq ft condo, so we weren't working with a ton of room in the kitchen, but the way our cabinets and counter tops are now, it seems like a much larger space! Europe Construction completely remodeled our kitchen in our downtown condo in less than a month and within budget.  The fact that we live in a high rise downtown is important because a lot of contractors don't want to bother with the hassles of parking, elevators and extra inspections.  They did a terrific job and we love our new kitchen.  We found them on Yelp and called to set up an on-site meeting.  Andrew (their designer) came to meet with me and our designer.  Based on that conversation, Andrew created a computer generated drawing which we then discussed in great detail over multiple meetings with Sergiy, the owner of the company.  We had tight budget and they worked with us to stay in that budget.  We got 3 other quotes for the project and Europe Construction was the lowest. Paul, the project manager, was a dream to work with.  We've done other remodel projects before and have had good experiences but Paul and his team were the best we've dealt with, ever.  He communicated with us daily, either in person or by text, to keep us fully informed.  When they installed the quartz countertops, the installers made some errors that resulted in ugly seams.  We pointed it out to Paul and he immediately took care of arranging replacement counters at no cost to us.  Paul and his team are very customer focused, they take great pride in their work and are absolutely committed to making you, the customer, happy.  They were professional and flexible throughout the process and the end result is absolutely beautiful and very functional.   We would use them again for any future remodeling projects. I am so pleased with you guys, love my new kitchen, your customer service and warranty is 100%! I was worried about my counter-top because it formed a crack almost 4 months later, still not sure how but regardless. I called Sergiey and he sent his army of workers over to look at the problem and immediately began the process to replace the counter-top without any hassle (at no additional fee). This is the place to go, their showroom out beats any other show room with probably the most designs options. I needed a complete remodel of my two-bedroom guesthouse, and I mean they gutted the entire house down to the studs. I interviewed 7 other construction companies before deciding on Europe Construction. They were hands down the most professional, understanding, down to earth people out of all the companies I interviewed, they just were really interested in what I wanted.

They gave me a 3-week time frame and they completed the work on time and on budget! They showed up on time every day and really worked. It was so exciting to come home from work every day and see the progress, real progress. It was really fun, and usually remodeling is a nightmare but these guys were so nice and it went so fast I feel like I almost miss them.

I have a dog and I never worried that he would step on construction debris because they cleaned up every day. Yes thoroughly cleaned inside the guesthouse and outside every day. How nice is that! I could go on and on about how nice, polite, responsible, and professional every single member of the team was, so I'll simply say this I feel truly blessed to have meet Sergiy, Paul and all the other guys, they are really a great group of people.

My experience was very similar to others who have left reviews and that says they are consistent. I definitely recommend them and I'm so looking forward to my next remodeling job, I can't wait to work with them again. Thanks Europe Construction! And Paul is awesome! Great guys! More...

Europe Construction finished our kitchen remodel about 3 weeks ago and we LOVE it! We found them through yelp when the 3rd bid we were waiting on took forever. We were in the miramar area, we stopped by their showroom, met Andrew and set up an appointment. He arrived on time and really listened to what we wanted; other contractors did not. A few days later we met Andrew at the showroom and he showed us his 3d plan. We made a  few changes and met with Sergiy to discuss it in detail and get the cost. The estimate was detailed and Sergiy worked with us to reduce the cost. For example, we took painting off because we've done tons of that ourselves. We waited a few days to make our decision and decided to go with them because they seemed honest. The first day 6 guys showed up to demo the kitchen, soffit, 500 square feet of tile and widen a doorway. Other contractors said they'd send 2 guys.  By the end of day 2 demo was done, half the drywall was in and 1/4 of the tile floor was laid. By day 6, all the tile was in, drywall and mud was done! These guys work hard and fast and their work is top quality. We chose their cheapest cabinets - white shaker - and they're plywood, sturdy and durable. No particle board.  We were quoted a 5 week time line and they finished in 2 1/2 weeks - 14 actual work days! Paul, the project manager was terrific and always available. The tile looked so good, we had them come back to tile our entryway with the same tile. Their work and work ethic are solid and I would be happy to work with them again. More...

Before I talk about specifics let me just say that my children (I am a mother of six) have always been greatly impacted by their environment so it makes perfect sense that our brand new light, bright, peaceful, gorgeously SERENE kitchen surroundings, I kid you not - - have inspired a huge expression of love between us all, (and far less arguing and depression!) whenever the family (which is 85% of the time spent in this house) congregates together in this part of the house. Thank you Sergiy for the newfound family closeness!!!From the get-go, Sergiy's initial consultation made the most sense to me. His highly creative vision, his sheer candor & honesty (not to mention very reasonable price-quote!) cinched my decision and I felt 110% confident to go with Europe Construction. I am a modern and contemporary person and I like to take risks with decor. It's now the home of three desks and tons of efficient storage for everything that goes on there, ranging from homework, to my professional job, to my home office. After doing some research and hearing some horror stories about shady contractors, my wife and I decided to go with Europe Construction (high yelp reviews).  We finally saved enough money to do a complete kitchen remodel and were ready to pull the trigger.  I called Europe Construction and spoke with the owner, Sergiy.  He came to our house and helped us design our kitchen from scratch. After choosing our cabinets, hardware, countertops etc, Sergiy finally gave us an estimate.  The estimate wasn't high and it wasn't low either, it was right where we wanted to be.  We shook hands and agreed on a start date.  Shockingly, Sergiy's crew and site manager, Paul, showed up on time and got right to work.  The finish target date was approximately one month and Europe Construction finished it in three. The finish product EXCEEDED our expectations and we couldn't believe it was our kitchen.  Sergiy's crew was very professional, courteous and trust worthy.  I've never had any concerns about leaving them unattended at my home while I was at work.  I'm glad we chose Europe Construction and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for quality home improvements.  Thanks Sergiy for a job well done, wife loves our kitchen!  Hats off to the crew as well! The morning our kitchen remodel was slated to begin, Sergiy's crew appeared on my doorstep with their broad smiles, at the precise moment they were scheduled and proceeded to expediently take out all my dark, dreary old cabinetry and countertops. Being highly perceptive, I just knew we were in good hands and I relaxed completely. I love it when my intuitions are correct! (As a sidenote: They handled this so beautifully and kept everything SOOOOO amazingly intact that I was able to sell (for a great price) all my cabinetry and granite countertops on Craig's list!)

The end result is absolutely stunning and any guest who walks into our home cannot even find the adjectives to describe our breathtaking kitchen. From the gleaming, pristine white European styled cabinets, the fused dichroic glass pulls, the sparkly quartz countertops, the unique farmhouse sink and innovative faucet, all the stainless steel appliances reflecting everything back, the shiny toe kicks, and the backpainted sky-blue glass backsplash and peninsula backside, not to mention a fantastic amount of storage and the cool high-tech atmospheric lighting that changes the look of our kitchen with a click of the remote to match any holiday or mood. Can we say fun !

Having such a large family, Sergiy also came up with the idea to remove a lengthy bank of cabinets that was formerly housing a bunch of junk and transform it into a useful work-study-station for me and my kids. It's now the home of three desks and tons of efficient storage for everything that goes on there, ranging from homework, to my professional job, to my home office. We love to sit in long row and compare notes of what we're working on. More family togetherness!

I also have nothing but the highest praise to give Paul as a project manager. He was beyond polite, stayed three steps ahead of me with regards to the game-plan, and surprised me by coming up with an ingenious way for my countertops to stay completely clear of toasters, blenders and the other eyesores that were always a pet-peeve of mine.

I will end by saying that I've since talked to a lot of friends about projects like this and there's no end to the horror stories and nightmares I heard (and the pictures I saw) of what happened with their kitchens by going with some of the other San Diego companies that exist. If you're planning a remodel, especially a kitchen one - - save yourself all the heartbreak/heartache and instead make things a piece of cake! Clearly using European Construction is the correct answer.

We used Europe Construction to remodel our kitchen and living room. We removed a wall/bar, new wood flooring in the living room, recess lighting in the living room and half bath, new tile, paint and our staircase.  My husband and I visited their shop in the afternoon and asked some general questions. Sergiy and Paul came over to our home that same night. They were very professional and explained everything to us in detail.  They listened to what we wanted to do and took all the measurements that night. We met with Sergiy a few days later at his office and went over the numbers and timeframe. We used Europe Construction for a complete remodel of our house. We did everything from the floors up, including renovating the kitchen and 3 bathrooms. At first, we were very worried about the remodel as we have heard so many bad stories about terrible contractors out there. We met with several contractors before the remodel and felt at ease with Sergiy. Sergiy was very professional, polite, and took the time to explain every little detail and answer all of the questions we had. Based on our meeting with Sergiy, and the excellent reviews online we hired Europe Construction. Europe Construction has its own crew which was supervised by Paul.  Paul and the crew worked very fast to complete our remodel. We hired Europe Construction to renovate our kitchen.  The scope of the project was extensive: demolition, disposal, carpentry, plumbing, electric, drywall and paint.  When evaluating a general contractor, I like to assess their performance in 4 key areas: 1). the contractor's ability to accurately estimate the cost/duration of the work when quoting a (fair) price, 2). timely responsiveness 3). respect (both for the clients and the subcontractors) and 4). accountability (problems occur during renovation, so how does the company handle them? What about problems that might come up after the work is completed?).1).  Ability to estimate the cost/duration of the project: The price they quoted was the price we paid. When we decided to add a cabinet to the scope of work in the middle of the project, Sergey (the owner of E.C.) promptly reworked the quote and the construction continued without a hitch. They started when they said they would and finished within the anticipated timeframe. The cost only changed when we changed our mind. Then, they accommodated us at a fair price. On a scale of 1-10 (with 1 representing an unscrupulous contractor and 10 being a contractor who's fair, punctual and honest), E.C. gets a 10.  2).  Responsiveness: E.C. excelled in this area, however, this part of my review is mostly in response to our experience with our project manager (Nick) who was the first to evaluate the scope of work and was in our house each day until the project was completed. Perhaps we were lucky to get Nick as our project manager; perhaps Europe Construction has the sense to hire competent people who can realistically anticipate and meet the challenges of the project without compromising its timeliness, quality, or the budget. Nick was our project manager and I recommend him to anyone who's ever wished they had a brother in the construction trades: he's good at getting a sense of what you're trying to accomplish, can figure out how to do it, and then gets you the result you wanted without imposing his ideas on your project and without ripping you off. We reconsidered our finish choices a few times during the renovation, and Nick remained unfazed through it all. He was ready to resolve each dilemma that came up with suggestions (when asked)  In the end, he produced a kitchen that's been called "awesome", "amazing", "beautiful" by just about everybody that's seen it (from neighbors to realtors to friends). We even had an interior designer that started working on a project unrelated to the kitchen after Nick completed the work say that if she was going to do her kitchen she would want it to end up looking like ours. 10/10 (insofar as Nick is representative of the quality they ordinarily hire).3).  Respect:  The entire crew treated the house respectfully: they protected the floors and kept everything as dust-free as possible. Nick and his crew cleaned up after themselves. We were going to live elsewhere for the duration of the project, however, we ended up only spending 2 nights in a hotel. The rest of the time (over a month) was spent onsite. Nick and the crew were great with our 7 year old twins who occasionally wanted to look in on the construction. We sought to minimize the kids' exposure to the chaos of construction and our efforts were facilitated by the fact that Nick and the crew were predictable: they arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left around 4:30-5:00 p.m. We trusted Nick and his crew to be alone in our house and were never given any cause for concern. 10/10.5).  Accountability:  The only significant problem we had throughout the renovation was a problem with the installation of the granite countertops. The first installer failed to accurately scribe the granite to the wall. This resulted in a compromised seam and 2 slabs that needed to be replaced. Sergey came out to our house on Memorial Day and over the next few days, they replaced 2 granite slabs at no cost to us. They also fixed the seam where the remaining 2 slabs join, however, the problem reappeared after the work was completed (a discoloration in the granite which suggests that it needs more of a thorough polish).  Even though we called 2 weeks after the project was finished, Sergey immediately agreed to send over his best granite guy to further work on the seam. Since accountability is the ultimate measure of whether or not anyone should hire a construction company, I'll update this review and change the star score to reflect E.C.'s "grade" for accountability as soon as I am able to meaningfully evaluate their follow-up performance in this area. My overall impression is that that E.C. is a solid company who does above average work for a fair price. Incidentally, whenever a realtor or any other construction people (unrelated to E.C.) comment on how great the kitchen looks, I ask them to guess how much it cost. I've never had anyone guess accurately:  they always think it cost about $20-25K *more* than what we paid! More...

I needed a complete remodel of my two-bedroom guesthouse, and I mean they gutted the entire house down to the studs. I interviewed 7 other construction companies before deciding on Europe Construction. They were hands down the most professional, understanding, down to earth people out of all the companies I interviewed, they just where really interested in what I wanted.They gave me a 3-week time frame and they completed the work on time and on budget! They showed up on time every day and really worked. It was so exciting to come home from work every day and see the progress, real progress. It was really fun, and usually remodeling is a nightmare but these guys were so nice and it went so fast I feel like I almost miss them. I have a dog and I never worried that he would step on construction debris because they cleaned up every day. Yes thoroughly cleaned inside the guesthouse and outside every day. How nice is that! I could go on and on about how nice, polite, responsible, and professional every single member of the team was, so I'll simply say this I feel truly blessed to have meet Sergiy, Paul and all the other guys, they are really a great group of people. My experience was very similar to others who have left reviews and that says they are consistent. I used EC for three projects in my home.  2 bath remodels and a wall removal.  Serge and his team were great.  Yes, we ran into issues, but Serge and his team worked hard to create work arounds and alternatives. .  In one room after the project was complete we ran into a plumbing problem on a holiday and serge sent over one of his guys to fix the issue.  I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to remodel their home..._DH_ More...

Sergiy and his team did an amazing job on the remodel of my downstairs. We had them do a complete remodel of our kitchen and bathroom and install new laminate floors and baseboards throughout the entire downstairs of our house.

He was very upfront about the process and gave us a very competitive quote. One of the ways he makes his quotes so competitive is that if ends up being your responsibility to buy appliances, fixtures and cabinet hardware, and they install them. This wasn't an issue for us as we wanted to "touch and feel" everything before we purchased it.

The job itself went way easier than I could have anticipated. Remodels are never fun, but after hearing nightmare stories from multiple people, I expected the worst. But Sergiy said 2-3 weeks for everything and he was spot on. Two weeks to the day they started, I was cooking in my new kitchen. Three weeks to the day they started, every minor issue was resolved and we were fully moved back into our house. Part of the reason for this is that he employs his own crews. Paul, who was the PM on my team, made sure to give me arrival times every day and he was always there when he said he would be. And his guys worked their butts off while they were there.

I highly recommend Europe if you are looking for a remodel of your house. We have two more bathrooms and a fireplace left to do, and they are getting the first crack at any project we have going forward. More...

After interviewing several companies, I decided to go with Europe Construction and I am most pleased with the results!. First of all, Sergiy presented himself in a professional manner both in demeanor and dress. The other companies came in their work clothes or shorts and flip flops. Call me old-fashioned, but how one presents himself initially does leave an impression. What impressed me further was how Sergiy LISTENED to my needs and concerns in undertaking a major kitchen remodel. He did not try to talk me into unwanted work or give me an estimate beyond what I wanted to spend. I had previously gone through two bathroom remodels and that experience was a nightmare, so it was with great trepidation that I approached a major remodel process again.

As I said, Sergiy listened to what I wanted in the remodel and the budget I wanted to maintain. He and his crew met and exceeded both criteria. We had several meetings to discuss the kitchen design and Sergiy was very helpful through that process. Once the work began, Paul managed the project. He and his crew were highly efficient and professional, taking care to prepare each morning, working effectively throughout the day, and cleaning up after the end of the day. Whenever there was a glitch, Paul's response was always "no problem". Also they consulted with me throughout the process, asking what I would prefer. The subcontractors they hired were also highly professional, efficient, and did excellent work. What impressed me the most, is the care and pride they took in their work. Paul, especially had an eye for detail. In his final walk-through, Paul noticed that one of the handles on one the drawers was not aligned, so he emptied the contents from the drawer and quickly made the proper alignment on the handle. The funny thing is that I had not noticed that it was out of alignment to begin with and I usually catch those things!! Yes, I am extremely happy with our new kitchen. After seeing and hearing about kitchen remodel nightmare stories, I was totally expecting a disaster during our remodel. After seeing all of the reviews on Europe Construction, I thought it would be too good to be true. But after meeting with Sergiy back at the end of 2013 to get an initial estimate for our kitchen remodel, we came away very impressed. His prices were very good, and he walked us through the process as to how the remodel would work very well. We were all set to sign the contract when my wife got laid off and we had to put the project on hold. Sergiy checked in every few months after that to see how we were doing, keeping us on his radar. That was a big selling point to me, considering i got five different remodel quotes and he was the only one who followed up with me more than once.Now to the remodel. Once we signed the contract and set a date, he said 2-3 weeks for everything.Everything included a complete kitchen remodel (cabinets, applicances and counters, along with some work on lighting and plumbing) a downstairs bath remodel, including fixing some bad patch work done by a plumber, and all new floors and baseboards throughout our down stairs. My first thought was "yeah, it'll be four weeks." Two weeks to the day after they started, I was cooking in my new kitchen. Three weeks to the day, all minor issues were corrected and the remodel was fully completed.Sergiy uses his own crews to do the work, which is a huge bonus. They show up on time, are very polite and work hard all day. The only thing he subs is granite installation, which was the only thing we had an issue with. One of the pieces (we used pre-fab granite) didn't match properly, so his crew found another piece that matched better and they came and installed that.We LOVE how everything came out. And the headache of the remodel was nowhere near as bad as the horror stories we heard. Like everything, just ask a lot of questions, make sure you spell out EXACTLY what you want in the contract, and don't be afraid to question when something doesn't look the way you want it. I heard about Europe Construction last year from my co-worker who hired them to renew his kitchen. I came to their showroom off Miramar Road and met Jim Larson. He patiently listened to us and created a kitchen plan in 3D. He was always willing to stay very late to meet us at his showroom and answer all of our questions and concerns.Sergiy, the owner, came to our house to take measurements and explain the work that would be done. He was very nice and professional. He was also very friendly and addressed all of our needs. I have used Europe Construction on 2 separate jobs now. Sergiy would always take the time to listen to us so he had a clear understanding of our goals. He would then sketch some drawings of what he envisioned the completed job would look like. His design skills are what really helped my wife and I visualize the potential of our home. The custom entertainment center that he created is beautiful. High quality work and craftmanship and the pricing was very reasonable. Sergiy was always honest with us and we always felt he was looking out for our best interests. During the construction process on both jobs his team would always be courteous and they would clean up after themselves at the end of each day. I called Sergiy, told him what I was wanting to have done, 2 bathrooms with custom marble tile and travertine floors.  He gave me a ballpark figure, came out the next week looked at it, and gave me a quote.  He also offered additional options that would save on the cost.  I signed up to get the work done, within a week his team Pauly and Vasily started on the demo.  They really did a good job taking out the old outdated stuff, it was very meticulous and excellent.  I am a real picky customer, and have expensive taste, but Sergiy and his team did everything to meet my needs and build the look that I wanted.  The bathrooms are the best money I have ever spent.  When I need more work done, I will be using only Europe Construction.  To put it in Sergiy's words: "this is going to be high quality work".  Which is exactly how it turned out.  Thanks again!
