Larry, the owner of Eugene Photography is great! He really worked with us to make sure we were happy with everything! The raw proofs (all 518 of them) were included with our price. He has an aptitude for selective color and sunsets, so if that's what you're looking for, Larry's your guy! We had a beach wedding at sunset so my husband and I were so excited when we heard that photographing sunsets was one of his specialties! You can take a look at my profile pics on here to see a couple of great ones he took!We also booked our videographer through Larry. Lenny was nice, too. He worked hard to make sure the audio for our ceremony came out good. As I mentioned, it was on the beach, plus it happened to be super windy that day! But that wasn't an issue on my wedding video thanks to Lenny! I was surprised to receive it on a DVD instead of just a digital copy. Larry, Eugene Photography was recommended by the Director of Catering at La Canada Flintridge Country Club where my son was married last month in January 2018. Larry also worked with our DJ, Dean of Royal Entertainment in the past & they are an amazing team! Larry & Dean have it all figured out with taking pictures of every table with the bride & groom. These pictures are wonderful to have as a memory of who attended the wedding! Of course all 500+ pictures of the wedding event are just beautiful! The ceremony at the gazebo, the reception, the pre-ceremony pictures of the flowers, cake & many other touching pictures, I can go on & on about Larry's artistic talent & skills. We met Larry at the Braemar Bridal Show. This was pretty early on in our wedding planning when we hadn't even booked a venue or set a date. I got a phone call from Larry following the Bridal Show. I was fairly skeptical but he was offering a free shoot and print. I figured it wouldn't hurt to shop around early and if anything, it got us something free.We set up a date and time to meet at his studio in Tarzana. We chatted, he shot us in a couple of poses, then uploaded our pictures and did a quick few photoshop touch-ups on our favorite. We then realized it wasn't about the free print, but more about getting to know Larry one on one and finding out if the couple and photographer mesh well together. We were impressed with his experience and his package pricing was within our range and so we booked our wedding photographer!On the day of, Larry was punctual and efficient. Eugene photography and video receives 5/5 stars from my husband and I. Larry takes beautiful pictures, and tons of them. It was like having 3 different photographers on our wedding day. Larry pays a lot of attention to detail and is creative. He also didn't mind traveling to our wedding location which was a plus for us. He was also on time and is professional in all aspects. Larry was so nice, warm, funny and inviting. He did a photo shoot for my mom, me and my sister to give to my grandmother for her 80th. We all had a great time. His studio is in his house and he has photos he took all over the house. They are a great way to know what you'd like your photo to look like and its also awesome to look at the people and his photography skills. After you take your photos he'll sit you down and you look through all the photos and choose which you love the most. He shows you the skills he has to make the photo look the best it can be. It was fun and hectic with all of us talking over each other and which photo was the best.  He is a great person and I'd definietly go to him for all professional photos I need in the future and I trust he'd do the highest quality job. He was listed as one of the preferred vendors, which was great because he knew the perfect places for the best shots! Larry was amazing. He really made our wedding day perfect and we love the pictures he took! Larry, I wanted to write my review in stages as I receive and review the finished product. I just picked up the proofs on disk tonight. So this is the first part of my review. Your pictures were SO BEAUTIFUL, SHARP AND TOUCHING, , I almost started crying while I was reviewing the proofs because your pictures brought back so many memories of the best day of my life, my wedding day. Let me state it this way - Larry Eugene is simply the one photographer you want at every wedding. Hands down! When you meet with Larry to review the work, you'll laugh at how many amazing photos he took when you had no idea he was there. Larry from Eugene Photography and Video was fantastic! My husband and I decided after we purchased photography that videography was really important to me. We found Larry through my now-husband's best man. We were thrilled because I really like the classic style wedding videos rather than the highly-edited music video style shorts that are so popular today. We spoke with Larry and he was so kind and professional. More than that, he was very calm and provided such exceptional care, which is so important for a bride and groom on and leading up to their wedding day. My husband works in live production, so he and Larry were able to discuss how they wanted the camera angles set up, and he had a package that fit our needs! He really took care of us! On the day of the wedding, he brought an assistant and was very reassuring, and stayed with us to make sure that he had captured everything that we had wanted.

It rained during our ceremony, but we were determined to have it outside (we purchased umbrellas) and since the back camera was blocked by those umbrellas, Larry made the artistic decision to film our entire ceremony from his mobile camera and captured some beautiful angles. He also provided my husband with a .lav mic, which was an excellent choice because we did not expect the rain, and the venue had moved everything inside without consulting me, so I had to tell our Day-of-Coordinator to direct everyone to move everything back outside, and working with the standing mic provided by our DJ/MC (who we absolutely love and who was amazing) was a bit cumbersome. We made the decision to marry outside regardless of the risks, and I prepared myself for the possibility that we may not have clean audio or video - but everything worked out great! The .lav captured everything clearly and beautifully! Larry uses the highest quality video camera that is not on the market anymore because it has a back-up, so you will be covered! Larry was recommended by my wedding coordinator. The first time we met him, he took our engagement photo so we got to understand his style and personality. We decided on the spot that he would be the right fit for our wedding. He was very professional and calming on my wedding day. All of the pictures turned out great!!
