Essex Catering did a fantastic job providing delicious food for the Caitlin Clavette Memorial Foundation's Farm to Table Dinner last night at Wright Locke Farm in Winchester. The menu was considerate of those who can't eat gluten, by offering bites like tuna poke on rice crackers and vegetarian alternatives too! My favorite bite of the evening was duck breast on pumpkin bread with cherry jam! The service was delightful. Entrees and sides were served piping hot in large cast iron skillets, which is that much more amazing because the farm doesn't have a kitchen! Matthew and Laura turned a large tent and an outdoor water spigot into an outdoor kitchen, so there was the additional entertainment of being able to watch the chefs hard at work.
