Emily is quite a treasure to our family! She definitely met our expectations. We gave Emily some challenges with low lighting and a short timeline for the actual day. I attended a wedding ES photography did the photos. I was so impressed with their results that I hired her for my wedding. Because our wedding was an "older" wedding I wasn't looking for an engagement package with a wedding package. Our wedding was a little bit more challenging as we had blended families and it wasn't our first. Emily captured every special moment. It's not easy to get 7 grandkids together for photos but she nailed it...every photo with them in it was perfect. She's amazing. From the first contact between my mom and Emily, throughout my meeting and messages with Emily, to the wedding day itself, Emily was professional, personable, and incredibly helpful. Her artistic talents were very obvious and Emily used them well to meet me and my husband where we were at. We are generally a very needy camera target, requiring fairly detailed posing and someone that can set an easy-going environment. Emily clearly saw this and smoothly put our camera-shy selves at ease! We felt like models on our wedding day (thanks for the compliment, Emily!) and had fun taking all kinds of photos we couldn't wait to get in the mail after the wedding - and we were not disappointed! Emily photographed our wedding a year ago and we couldnt be happier about the way she captured our special day. At the time I met Emily I was pretty overwhelmed with all the details. My husband and I got married in our backyard and when my mom and I interviewed Emily she was ecstatic and so enthusiastic about all of our ideas! There was no doubt we wanted her to be our wedding photographer within the first few minutes of chatting with her! During the wedding she and her assistant really took charge, it was exactly what we needed! She is so talented in the way she captured every photo and we had so much FUN!. Emily is an amazing photographer! My husband and I recently had her do a photo shoot of the two of us and we were so happy with the results. She captured our personalities in a casual and natural way- just what we had wanted! The photos are top quality and capture the light and landscape beautifully as well. From the first moment I met Emily I knew I wanted her to photograph my wedding. We had a DIY backyard wedding and she was so excited about all of my ideas on our first meeting. When the big day came, Emily and her assistant Claire were so uplifting, excited, they made a stressful day a lot more fun! Working with Emily & Claire was perfect! Every late night babbling email was answered promptly. I tend to be an A-type planner so it can drive actual professionals crazy, but my photographers never seemed to mind. A HUGE plus for me is the fact that my now-husband doesn't enjoy having his picture taken. On vacations, I can get one, maybe two pictures out of him, and with them, they captured him. In both our engagement photos, and wedding portraits, I see him. His natural smile and personality. It's makes me so happy, PLUS they never seems to mind that they keep having to say, one more. Emily provided excellent service throughout the entire day of my wedding. She took wonderful shots, and captured the best moments of the best day of my life! Emily was very flexible with times, met me a week before the wedding at the venue to go over what I wanted done, and was more than willing to be extra creative and fun with the pictures I wanted! I also used Emily for my engagement photos a few months previous and they too came out amazing!
