We recently contracted Enguita Construction to complete a major kitchen renovation and total home flooring project for us and we are 100% pleased with the results!
Previously, Enguita had remodeled our two bathrooms with excellent outcomes, so we chose them for the kitchen/floor work. On both occasions, they met with us at the beginning of the project and took time to really understand our desires...making recommendations after they understood the total scope of the endeavor. Once we agreed on the plans, details and costs, the rest was in their capable hands. They continued to communicate well throughout the project and only made changes after meeting with us to indicate the reasons for them and gaining our approval. There were never any surprises as a result of this communication. Their work is of the highest calibre...they met all deadlines and they were on-budget...but even more importantly, they are trustworthy and great people to deal with. We recommend them highly and without any reservations.

I have used Jim and sons for all my home improvements. He has remodeled two bathrooms, two kitchens as well completed numerous other home improvement projects for. He is efficient and timely in completing his projects. Jim is also excellent when it comes to needing a creative opinion on any remodel job. He recently helped me with a big kitchen remodel project and I could not be happier! He his excellent and communicating the remodel time line. We learned of Enguita Construction byway of our recommended vendors list of our Community Association and when we asked some of our neighbors who had used them all we got was glowing recommendation and praise. Now that the job of our kitchen and bathroom renovation is complete I must say it is well deserved. The project exceeded my expectations and it’s magazine ad quality looks. They didn’t take shortcuts and were very cognizant of any suggestions and directions we had and they were not happy until the job was perfect. Their price was competitive and completion times were on schedule. We have had 6 remodels of homes and rental properties and this has been the best experience ever and we highly recommend them. If there was a 6 star rating then I would give that. I was so pleased with the job, the work ethics and the men who came. My reno involved taking a partial wall out and raising the ceiling . New cabinets were installed as well granite counters. They made suggestions and I had my dream kitchen.. They were great at keeping the dust down and cleaning up each day as we had to live with this construction. I would recommend them highly. More...

I highly recommend Enguita Construction to anyone with a remodeling need. Professional, knowledgeable, reliable and fantastic workmanship are just a few of the descriptions I can use for Jim and his staff. We remodeled our mid-1970s original kitchen and laundry room, which included moving a wall and removing the soffit in the kitchen. There was continuous communication throughout the project and superb project management that ended with a beautiful upgrade that we truly love (and was completed on schedule). Jim had a great carpenter (Mike) for our semi-custom cabinets; as well as an excellent suggestion on our granite counters installation company. Enguita Construction undertook a complete home renovation for me. No wall is where it was. I have new windows and doors, a new kitchen, 2 baths instead of 1, all new wiring plumbing and ducting.
I have a new screen porch, new floor coverings and a new roof.
Throughout this 5 month process I experienced courteous professionalism from the Enguita team and their subcontractors. They responded appropriately to any of my concerns. They closely monitored all subcontractor work. The project was completed within the agreed upon time and budget.
I am delighted with my essentially new home and highly recommend Enguita Construction.

Enguita Construction just completed another project for us and once again, they did an amazing job. We had the master bathroom shower redone last year and this summer they remodeled our kitchen with brand new cabinets, granite, backsplash, sink, etc. They are absolutely wonderful to work with, very professional and do what they say they are going to do. We actually went back up North in April and came down at the veryend of the kitchen project to see it and clean up. I was totally comfortable with them working in our condo while we were gone and was thrilled when I walked in the door and saw my new kitchen. Wow, we finally got the kitchen we've always wanted because of Enguita Construction! We couldn't have been happier with Enguita due to their diligence, professionalism, and expertise in every aspect of their business. Enguita Construction was hired to remodel my kitchen. The estimate provided was all inclusive, well conceived and fair. There were no unexpected additional costs.
Mr. Jim Enguita was on site each day to check the progress and answer any questions or concerns. The payment schedule was fair and the last check was not delivered until Mr. Enguita did the final check. The workmanship was top quality. The men who came to work at my home were courteous and respectful.
Mr. Enguita recommended places to look for flooring and countertops as well as a craftsman to make my cabinets. These were not mandatory in the contract. The recommendations were all very good. The cabinet maker is a high skilled craftsman. His provided great ideas for the re-design of the cabinets. The final product is just beautiful.
The plan for the work was well organized causing the least disruption to my routine as possible when an entirely new kitchen is being done. The work was completed well within the timeline originally created.

The Enguita Construction team was hired to do a complete remodeling to a 30 year old condominium unit we had just purchsed.
The unit was extremely dated, and probably had no upgrades since it has first built. The list of servcies that were performed were:
* Remove all kitchen and bathroom applicances, fixtures, dropped ceilings and floor tile.
* Remove walls to create a more open area between the kitchen and living room.
* Remove wall in bathroon seperating the sink area from the shower/toilet area.
* Remove the popcorn ceiling.
* Remove all carpet and floor tiles throughout the 1300+ square foot unit.
* Repaint all walls and retextured ceiling.
* Retile to entire unit. Install carpet in the bedrooms.
* Install new sinks, cabnets, countertops, and mirrors in the 2 bathrooms.
* Install new cabinets, countertops, applicances, sink, disposal, in the kitchen.
* Added updated lighting throughout the unit, including new canned lights and penants lights.
* Updated the HVAV vents, electrical wiring, and plumbing where required, due to the removal of walls and remodeling on cabnetry and applicance locations.
The project progressed almost exactly as planned, which was surprising considering we were from NJ and were relying on a contractor from the Clearwater/Tampa area to perform our required work. The Enquita Team gaves us a fair quote, with a thorough explaination of what they would be doing. They were really listening when we told them how we wanted the finished product to look. They made suggestions and told us the pros and cons of some of our ideas (either cost or functionality).
Once the project started, we received almost daily update on their progress via email or phone calls; many times with photos of their progress. The project started and was completed exactly when they said it would be done. After their work was completed, we had to call them for some minor issues, and they were there to address the issue the same day. The project was on time, on budget, and the results were even better then we expexcted. We really have a beautiful condo unit now.
Obviously, we highly recommend the Enguita Construction Team. It is a family business that has an outstanding work ethic and they truely take pride in their work (and their word). Without a doubt, the BEST contractor I have ever dealt with.

We used Enguita for our condo overhaul and renovation project in Florida. They pretty well stripped the kitchen to bare walls and went from there in a timely and professional manner. From sales to labour to customer service they were all very good to work with. Any little problems were quickly addressed and rectified and now the place looks so great! Enguita Construction completely remodeled our master bathroom. We chose a custom double sink cabinet from Houzz.com and they brought in a cabinet maker to build the cabinetry. Everything was done with precision. Both Jim and Jason (owners) and their staff were courteous, neat, and professional, and certainly know their trade. One or both men were on site daily and there was a constant flow of communication between them and us. No surprises! We highly recommend them and we will use them again for future projects. More...
