We found Encore Travel though the American Society of Travel Agents. The ASTA is an associate that upholds high quality standards for its members. Hugh Sheppard from Encore Travel is a member of the ASTA. Through the ASTA’s website, we submitted our plans for our honeymoon and received several quotes and itineraries from various travel agencies. Encore Travel hit the mark for what we wanted in service, travel planning, and within our budget. Working with Hugh as our travel agent was easy, informative, and a pleasurable experience. Hugh was able to design for us a travel itinerary that absolutely met our dream honeymoon expectations. His package was as all-inclusive as possible when traveling abroad. He was able to work with local tour guides to give us a truly customized trip while in Scotland. Hugh was easily accessible by phone and email, and was accommodating to all of our requests and needs. Enjoyed working with Hugh. He was knowledgable, familiar with our destination, answered all of our questions, and coordinated our flights, so our group of 16 could all travel together. He alerted us of a short notice airline itinerary change, before departure, and handled the logistics of that, so we had a trouble free travel experience. He recommended a wonderful all inclusive, in Cancun, Mexico, that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will work with Hugh again, in the future, when we decide on our next travel destination. More...

We looked a several travel agencies for our trip and decided on Encore Travel. We had a group of 24 people all coming from different locations on a trip through SE Asia. It was complex and we needed help with flights, transportation, hotels, and things to do and see. The agent we worked with was knowledgeable and provided us with great options. Everything went smoothly on the trip and the guides were great! We did find a couple quotes were a little less money, but we were all very happy with the decision to go with Encore Travel. Mostly because of the knowledge, ideas and insights that were provided by the agent. We definitely recommend and will use Encore Travel again in the future. More...

Hugh with Encore Travel helped plan my best friends Bachelorette party in Cancun Mexico. This was a group of 5 girls from all different parts of the US. He was able to to find us a reasonable but very nice resort, and get us all on track. He was very patient with the process and held our hand through every step. I know you travel...so much can happen to define the experience: missed connection, lost items, a special occasion. 5 of us from 5 world locations brought together - I can only define my experience as exceptional remarkable, a 10 out of 10. And I don't do 10's. All of the above happened and we had communication with Encore when we wanted it or needed it. And, boy, we really needed it at one point. Encore Travel was great. We worked with Hugh regarding our 2 week trip to Europe and he was quite helpful. We had multiple cities we wanted to visit, but had never traveled to Europe before. So didn't know how to get it all put together. His advice was very helpful. He set us up with everything we needed to have a really wonderful time. The tours were really informative, the hotels were great, smaller than we were expecting but I guess that's normal there and he did let us know that, but overall we had a great trip thanks to Hugh and Encore Travel. We would definitely recommend and will be calling Hugh again for our next trip. More...
