What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
To us, connecting with our client helps bring out the best possible outcome. Great customer service translates well with making the client comfortable, and with comfort comes ease. The process becomes more enjoyable for both the client and the photographer and that always produces out better photographs. Moments come more in volume and more genuine. The way we approach our work, helps us connect more with our customers and allows us to create great photography.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Why did you choose me for your photographer? What does your vision look like for the photoshoot? What are your priorities for the session? Do you have any must have photos? What are you expecting from a good photographer?
What do you love most about your job?
Working with people and hearing good feedback about my craft. Being on the move, capturing the moment and knowing the client loved the product.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There's just something to capturing a great moment or a beautiful arrangement of imagery inside a frame. Candid moments, good color, interesting backgrounds and shapes, animals, people seeking to hold on to memories. Always being drawn to photography and doing it for fun, I eventually pursued it and started getting small gigs, offering services and it really took off after a while. Knowing that people can have photos they will appreciate and enjoy, even show off, and that I created them... that is a good feeling. I always work with my clients and prioritize their vision and needs in order to have a successful session and a happy customer that would be glad to refer my services.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are approachable, always keeping it casual yet professional and keeping respectful boundaries. We always want to make the client feel like they are being photographed by friends, to make the experience feel seamless and familiar. We like to have our clients feel involved with the process, we take ideas in the moment and encourage them when it feels right to put their flair. We simply capture the moment and can create them as well in order to meet our clients needs and help them bring forth their vision.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
As this is Photography, all services are in person. On occasion we can set up a service all online or via phone without first meeting with the client until the day of. But we try to meet with the client beforehand to create a good sense of rapport so as to establish good communication, understanding of the service and set a positive impact. We want our clients to feel good about working with us.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We definitely will accommodate our clients regarding safe distance practices with photography if it is something they are looking to be provided. When posing we ask before hand during the session. We like to ask our clients if there are any particular requests regarding this topic beforehand.
