Omg! What a pleasure working with Elise for our wedding!

She was so personable from the first message she sent! We loved chatting over the phone and were so excited to meet. Right at that meeting we knew she was the photographer for us! We had Elise take our daughter’s 4th birthday photos! We couldn’t have the party we wanted because of Covid, so it was just family - Elise was so great with the kids! !!! I had Elise shoot my daughter’s baptism and the photos were exceptional!

We paid a session fee and the contract was  clear that we would then purchase the album separately.

Elise went above and beyond! She came over to our home, showed us the photos in person and we couldn’t have been happier! She was so personable, the photos were BEAUTIFUL and we purchased an album as a keepsake! We would recommend her to ANYONE who wants a high value, super personal service to capture your memories! We hired this photographer for our daughter's baptism ceremony.

Photos were not centered, some shaken.
Not familiar with content that needs to be shot in a baptism.
Outdoor photos had too many shadows on people's faces.

On top of this poor work she requested $50 for EACH photo in order to give them to us in the highest quality. We wanted to make an album 12x12 but we don't have this option now. unless she does it for us.

To be fair we asked this photographer if she is capable of handling this ceremony and replied with a yes. More...

It is unfortunate that you failed to read the contract and wanted to take the photo rights away from me and offer them to another vendor. You paid a session fee. You got over 200 social media sized files. This was stated in the contract that you signed. I also tried to explain my process to you over the phone in our phone consultation but you chose NOT to listen. I offered to come over to your home, and in-person explain this process to you and show you samples and options. Again, you chose to argue "WHY can't you just email them?" Again, not listening to my process which was stated in the contract. You had your baptism reception in a small garden outside of a church. The rest was a parking lot. Not really an ideal background for photos. You had this reception at 1:30 during full sun. This is not the time to photograph people’s faces because of the harsh sunlight that stems from the sun being overly high in the sky. We chose to use the corner where there was some partial shade due to the trees. You take no value in what photography is. Photography is an art. I would have been happy to create a 12x12 album for you as it also stated IN THE CONTRACT. The photo rights belong to me. You do not take someone else’s art and then have another vendor finish the job. I’m a full-service business. I’m sure you deal with many photographers to know that most will not sell their high res files, 270 of them without preparing the album and selling the print rights. I even designed an album for you and sent you the mockup. You simply wanted to be able to have my photo rights and print your album wherever you want. Again, all of this was very clear in the contract that you signed. If you would have asked me to create the album, you would have received all of the high res digitals included. ALL OF THEM. Again, you chose NOT to listen. But since you hate the photos so much, I don’t know why would even want an album. Read the contract.
