Edyta Grazman Photography

My 13 year old daughter recently had a wonderful photo session with Edyta in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood. Edyta made her feel very comfortable with her cheerful, fun personality! We walked around and Edyta found some very unique back drops with awesome punches of color, like a red door, an overpass over-looking the Chicago skyline, an industrial looking building that was perfect with my daughter's "cool clothes". She captured the mood and also my daughter's personality. Her editing skills are beyond amazing! Skies were gray that day, but the photos are vibrant and yet natural/believable. My daughter is a redhead with freckles and Edyta managed to color control each image perfectly to highlight my daughter's natural features. We are so happy with the images and grateful for such a fun morning! I had the most amazing experience with this photographer. Edyta is as good as it gets. Fantastic experience with Edyta. very personable and accommodating!This was our first photoshoot with our 7 month old and I was blown away with the pictures we received- also earlier than expected which was a wonderful surprise. Our final photos were shared online so we could access them for viewing/send to family members. I appreciated that she cherry picked only the best pictures, otherwise I would have focused on all the 'bad' and 'awkward' pictures of myself. Highly recommend!! More...

Edyta is the total package. She shoots absolutely stunning photos; she is truly an artist. I was stunned by the number of perfectly clear, picturesque, and intriguing shots she got of our family with a wiggly 8 month old in the picture. But, on top of that, she is very personable and it's obvious she cares about getting to know her clients and their needs. She cares about her work and does it right. First of all...The Pictures are Fantastic which is what it is all about! But on top of that Edyta is a pro at keeping everyone focused, framing the scene and capturing everyone's personalities. Edyta wrangled a 3, 5, and 6 year old with grace and ease. My 3 year old is shy and Edyta was able to capture some of the most beautiful photos of her with her cousins. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for high quality, professional photography. More...

My husband, daughter (14 months) and I asked Edyta to take outdoor family photos. Let me preface with this: she is one of the most talented photographers I know! Contact and communication was easy and pleasant with Edyta. Before the actual photo shoot she came to our home to discuss our vision and also gave very helpful outfit suggestions. She also found us the perfect locations to meet for our shooting in Chicago.We met at a park and my daughter was slightly grumpy at the beginning, but Edyta managed to coax her out of her shell and was very patient with her. You can tell that Edyta is a mom herself - she interacts beautifully with children. Edyta gave us a wealth of pointers on what to do so we could get both natural in action photos and family portraits. When she noticed that our daughter was losing interest in a particular setting we changed location and could start afresh. Most importantly, Edyta never gave up getting the perfect images! She listens patiently to your vision and helps you fulfill it. Towards the end of the shooting we were getting tired, but Edyta gave us a fresh wave of energy (plus the idea to kick of my high heels and actually play on the lawn) and she took some of our favorite photos. The progress of taking the images ended being a fun and rewarding experience for us.The actual images were simply breathtaking. It was a cloudy day and I commented that I wished there could have been a golden sunset. To my immense pleasure Edyta managed to add that glow to the images! It actually looks like it was a summer's early evening with the sun softly glowing upon us instead of the clouds we actually had. The background for each and every photo has that perfect dreamy blur and frames us perfectly. She also managed to capture colors in the background and in our outfits to give the images an overall harmony and cohesiveness coupled with perfect composition. She was not afraid to get into uncomfortable positions herself just to get the perfect angle to photograph us.Overall, we're immensely impressed by Edyta's skills and can't believe how well the photos turned out and how beautiful she managed to make us look whilst still looking natural and relaxed. I have been looking for a photographer for quite some time, but never found anyone that put me at ease. My wife and I have two beautiful girls age 1 & 3, and being 21 months apart they are a handful. They are also going through that shy phase. So I needed a photographer that could handle two rambunctious girls, but, one who could also be warm and inviting so my girls were not afraid. Enter Edyta. She has children of her own, so knows how to handle the wild toddlers! She has such a caring personality that my girls immediately took to her. They loved being photographed by her. Edyta took the time to meet with us at our desired photo shoot location (Chicago Botanic Gardens) and walked through with us and discussed all the possible poses and best locations within the garden,  and best time of day. She also proposed an outline of timing and when to take certain photos so the girls would be at their calmest. Since we never had professional photos before we did not know what to wear or color matching etc. Edyta gave us several pointers which were very helpful. She also allowed us to email her with different outfit ideas, so we could look out best come the photo day. We are very pleased with the end results. The photos came out perfect! Edyta is truly as good as it gets. With a six week old and a rambunctious two year old,  I was nervous how the shoot would go in our home. Honestly, it couldn't have gone better. Edyta was patient and calm and always knew exactly how to get the shot she needed (even in the midst of a level 5 tantrum which she handled so well  and with a knowing smile) . She was even able to get my toddler to stop running and get some absolutely adorable shots. Edyta's beautiful pictures documented a very special time for our family and I cannot wait to see what she will do with our next session. More...
