We got our roof, insulation, windows and two entry doors replaced with EcoStar. Anthony and Kelli were in charge of it all and they were phenomenal. They were always going above and beyond, working with our hectic schedule. Everything moved quickly and as planned. ISSAC from EcoStar is a great employee. We started off by wanting to remodel our driveway and they did a amazing job through tour the process he helped us out with everything and if we had any questions he'll let us know right away and told us doesn't matter day or night let me know if you need anything which for me is amazing because it's hard to find good costumer service nowadays. The next thing we done was the gas lines from our house redone because we leaks and got shutdown from the gas company. We called Issac right away and let him know what was going on and he sent someone right away to see what's the issue. We didn't have gas for just one day the next day his crew came out and redid the whole house and finished the same day and Issac made sure we had got water that same day. We hired Ecostar team-Isaac and Eran to install a new roof, solar panels, windows and insulation for our home. From the beginning of the initial process to discuss all the work until the end the Ecostar team was there every step of the way! Communication was superb and every question we had about the work in our home a team member was there to help! We are most happy about the timing of the work, we run a large family day care in our home and Ecostar scheduled things around our schedule as best they could it was great especially at nap time! Everyone at Ecostar was helpful and nice and one last thing that is super important to me, they all cleaned their work space so my home clean after they finished. My experience with EcoStar has been very positive. After a variety of jobs done in my home and many different people in and out of my home doing jobs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! RUDE, HOSTILE AND DISRESPECTFUL. For starters, a solicitor from this company happened to catch my dad outside of the house and because we were actually in the market to get our roof done soon, he decided to give the kid the time and day and set up another appointment for an estimate. We usually just ignore solicitors and the events that followed showed why we usually do so. After scheduling a follow up appointment, a "man" came by a little later for the estimate and that's when it all came crashing down.First, we were a little thrown off that the first thing the "man" requested from my mom was medicine (ibuprofen) when we haven't even gotten a proper introduction with his name, ID, etc. For our safety and to avoid any malpractice of any kind, we denied giving him some. That was the first red flag.Second, once my dad took over and handled the meeting with the "man" giving the estimate, he was very rude, disrespectful and condescending towards my dad. My dad and the "man" were outside of my room, inspecting a wall outside of my window (which I thankfully had open to hear the whole exchange), and the "man" was going on about other extraneous issues with our house that were NOT related to the roof. My dad was reiterating to not worry about it and explained to him that we only wanted his opinion on the ROOF, not anything else. All the while the "man" was becoming hostile and agitated threatening that we'd get in trouble by inspectors and that he was an "engineer" so he knows better than my dad. For some reason, the "man" got VERY SENSITIVE AND DEFENSIVE when my dad expressed we had previously gotten estimates and are still shopping around for quotes. Mind you, the first estimate we got was from my uncle, who is a contractor as well. Just because my mom told the "man" he was our first estimator, since this wasn't the case, he started to get very irritated and defensive towards my dad. Clearly the "man" was acting like a little boy just because we had bent the truth about not having other people come by for estimates. Doesn't the "man" know that that's how shopping around works? If you're planning to commit to a job that is potentially worth tens of thousands of dollars, wouldn't you shop around first?Once my dad and the "man" started verbally butting heads over the incident, he came back inside the house to grab his things, but he was so reluctant to leave and started to get even more hostile and defensive towards us. If it wasn't obvious we didn't want any more of his time or business, he started acting even more childish "Why you rush me?" and "Don't tell me to go."The "man" finally left our house and out of our safety, we made sure to document his license plate plus car make and model. Because if it wasn't obvious enough, he knows where we live and we have no information on him besides a business card with only a first name on it. Once he realized that we documented the info on him, only then did he try to come back to our front door. We tried to ignore him, but for some reason my mom decide to open the door to talk to him after multiple rings and knocks. He made an excuse that he was "checking to see if I forgot anything" and with his tail between his legs, the "man" tries to apologize when clearly the deed had already been done. Again, with my dad and myself telling the guy to leave and my mom to close the door, he was still persistent on trying to stay at our door step.The "man" forgot that HE NEEDED US MORE THAN WE NEEDED HIM. He incorrectly assumed that we knew nothing of home repair. It was obvious he judged us based on our nationality and assumed we were ignorant about the whole process. The "man" acted like a little boy once he didn't get his way.Save yourself the time and avoid this "man" and this "business" at all costs. He needs a reality check and needs to get off his pedestal. I'm updating my review because several things have happened since my initial review. 1) we had several items that needed repairing or adjusting. since we were under warranty, I called Foster and he sent his team over and took care of it right away at no cost. No BS... no hassles... no excuses! They took care of it!  2) Foster and I had a conversation about my complaints. I can appreciate the fact that he read my review, internalized it, reflected on it and acknowledged things could have been done very differently. Why is that important? Because it shows we make mistakes and we learn from them! I can only hope new EcoStar customers are having a better experience than we did thanks to those reflections. My new backyard is beautiful! It's a complete transformation from what it was before EcoStar renovated it from front to back. Foster and Mila are a great team. Wow!...Just WOW! This company is the gold standard, in my opinion, when it comes to construction companies. We have had several crews work on our properties before and none of them were as efficient, professional, and quality as EcoStar was with our home. Windows, flooring, electrical, AC unit all done for our house. Foster and Gigi had very good communication with us to let us know what was going on. Very friendly even with our dogs in the house. Pablo was a wonderful worker his work is amazing and neat. Only bad experience was with painters so not so neat work. I worked with Isaac and Foster. I had a lot of specific (nit-picky) concerns and they listened patiently and planned to accommodate all of them. My biggest issue was with time and they did pretty much my whole project in 7 working days instead of the 10 day prediction! I paid them to put a drop beam in, but they found a way to hide it in the ceiling! Ok so I would love to thank Anthony for being such a wonderful supervisor for the extensive projects that Ecostar has done on my home. Anthony has been so helpful and understanding throughout this entire process. From the rewiring of my entire home to the remodeling of my extremely outdated and slightly deteriorated bathroom, Anthony had been there to take my specific suggestions and fix anything that I hadn't been completely satisfied with. Before Ecostar, I had been seriously planning to scrap this old home, as it had been quite the eyesore for me. I am truly grateful for all the effort of Anthony and his workers, for they have totally changed the interior of my home, and fixed things that I had dreamed of for so long. I worked with Or and Foster on exterior improvement on my house. Overall I am very happy with the work, the results, and the experience. I had them do some concrete work, stacked stone , stucco repair, and full exterior paint. Hiring Ecostar was the best decision I've ever made. They've been such a wonderful asset to my home improvement project so far. While the entire Ecostar crew has outdone themselves, the electricity specialist Yarin has been the most impactful worker of the entire crew. As you may expect, I had multiple doubts, questions, and worries concerning the process of re-wiring both of my extremely old homes. Luckily, Yarin had come before the operation took place, and thoroughly examined and later explained in detail what was going to happen and how it was going to be carried out. By the the time he was done, I felt more secure and comfortable knowing that my children and I would be safe without risk of electrical fires, due to the wires being brand new, and much, much,better than my previously corroded wires! This was a small paver job.  I currently had a large courtyard and wanted to add pavers along side my house.  I only had one other estimate and in hindsight, I should have gotten a couple more.  I thought the price was OK.  It was to take 2-3 days (I thought they would work all day).  The 1st day was demolition of some existing concrete--it took less than one hour and then they left, even though the pavers were already delivered.  Then the next time it was less then 6 hours and the last day it was about 5.  The pavers were not spaced evenly; the sand was not filled  in completely between the pavers.  They came back about 2 weeks later and filled in more sand.  And they ordered about 150 pavers too many.  They said they could return them for credit but didn't say anything about a credit for me.  And I had already moved them from the parkway to inside my property.  Just a lot of small stuff that I wasn't happy about. whoever is flyering my neighbor in west long beach, golden avenue SHOULD BE FIRED!!! it's A CRIME AGAINST FEDERAL STATUES to put advertising flyers into people mailboxes, that's for U. S. MAIL ONLY, not your damn flyers... im reporting this to the post master too... reference: The U.S. Code for crimes and criminal procedure prohibits the placement of unstamped flyers in any mailbox. Foster was very kind  and pleasant to work with. He assisted me with all my concerns. He was dedicated throughout the project with sending pictures and responding whenever I called. If he was busy he made sure a team member contacted me. That was rare though. His available to me was impeccable. He made sure I like the work and if I was unhappy he made me happy. This company did a roof replacement job for me. The work done was very good, roof looks great. Or meet me on time and was very friendly and flexible with options and pricing. Job completion was behind schedule due to inspector scheduling not actual completion of the roof. Backyard remodeling with added turf:   If I could give ZERO stars, I would.  This has been the worse experience!  The Project Manager we got was so weird and PUSHY! ! He wanted things to be done HIS way and not what my mom and I wanted... most of the things he was pushing for was because ether it was easier for them or cheaper for them. It was horrible working with this guy - Ron Zino.  Then, I asked to work with his supervisor - same thing!! pushy and of course he was going to back up his employee.  When he showed up to the house, his main goal was to talk to us about our kitchen and how we could remodel it (get us with more business).  When we got the turf installed (about 10 months ago), they told us that the turf had a 10 year warranty for ANY reason and just to call them and they would "take care of us" since we had spent over $10,000 with them... On Sunday morning, 6/5/20, I went to my back yard and realized that about 90% of my turf was BURNED!  MELTED!  I'm assuming that a neighbor's firework flew right into my back yard.  :(I called them up to see what they could do.  This other guy came to my house and said that there was nothing they could do other than replace it and MAYBE give me a SMALL discount....  NEVER AGAIN!  Not only my initial experience with them was horrible but now, to get to deal with them again?? no thank you!  If my only option is to pay again to replace it, I rather take my business somewhere else. We used EchoStar remodeling for a replacement of our garage roof, drywall repair due to water damage, backyard turf, stamped patio/ and cement slab trash for trash cans. Everyone on the team from Eran, Tal, Egor, the foreman and team of workers were amazing and great communicators. From our initial appointment to constant follow ups and daily group text messages to update us on the plans for the next day they were always available for questions and concerns. They were very good with protecting our current turf we had installed in the front when doing the new cement work and clean up after the completion of the project was thorough.My only concerns :**they work really fast so changes are almost impossible, so make sure your plans are almost final before contacting them.*if there is something specific you want , be out there to be sure it gets done( we wanted a stake in the concrete for a gate for our dogs but it was forgotten and too late once the concrete dried when we noticed ). They were very willing to rectify it by adding a screw on the stucco( but I can tell it will need more stabilization already).*roof work they didn't prepare us or put down plastic covering in the garage so saw dust and roofing material went everywhere, we are still cleaning till this day on top of all of our personal items.*the daily workers would leave there lunch trash over night and that was a little annoying because I had to clean it before I let my dogs roam .*I did feel like they tried to up-sale a couple of items ( gutters and extending the cement further) but that's probably a normal sales tactic .They are very professional, affordable and very easy to talk to. We would defiantly recommend there work and there company . They also give you a couple of different financing options as well which definitely came in handy so we can make payments on our projects. This company is remarkably efficient with there remodeling and any construction needed for your home. We are so grateful for EcoStar because even though the corvina virus has affected business everywhere ,it did not affect their performance in business for us. I have had a very bad experience with EchoStar remodeling. The winter rains damaged some of the fascia below the roof. When I searched for fascia repair, Echo Star come up and had good reviews. I called and they sent over Michael who had very good reviews,  and he looked things over and said that the repair would be seven thousand dollars which included fascia repair and installing gutters to prevent future damage. Michael was very pleasant and friendly and wanted to get started promptly. Because he thought there might also be some termite damage he said he needed to send over his termite guys right away while they were still available. One came but did not have a ladder to reach the roof, so he came back the next day with the right ladder and another person. I was told by Michael there was only a minor termite problem and they had applied orange oil to the areas of concern to correct it. Fascia repair began and was done quickly and gutters were installed. Everything looked great, BUT when it was all done and paid for,  Michael  said there was  a problem with termites that would involve drilling 6 inch holes into the roof at 3 foot intervals and looking for termites and then pumping gas into the holes. That would cost ten thousand dollars. <br><br>I said I had never heard of this procedure and that I had had the house tented and treated for termites six years ago and that I would talk with the termite inspector who had been involved with the tenting then.  The termite inspector came and told me that before orange oil was applied I should have received a written report of where the termites were and also that I should have been asked to sign consent to apply this toxic agent. THAT IS THE LAW. He told me that the gas pumped in during tenting reaches everyplace where termites might be and he could not understand why Michael had recommended the holes and pumping in gas through them. He then did his own inspection and found no evidence of termites and found a lot of remaining dry rot that had not been taken care of and in front of which the fascia board had been placed. He said that everything that Echo Star had done would have to be removed and everything redone after the dry rot was taken care of and removed. I called the owner of Echo Star, Omer to complain and also sent him a copy of the termite report. He said he would send someone over to work with me to do things correctly. He sent over Eran who came over promptly and promised to work with me and to get back to me quickly. I also sent Eran a copy of the termite inspector's report. That was ten weeks ago. He never got back to me and as he left he said he would check into dry rot and asked how to spell it. My dealing  with Echo Star convince me that the people working at Echo Star do not know what they are doing. They send out workers who diligently do the actual hard work  but do not supervise them. Michael would come back after they were gone for the day and did not know what they found during the course of their work. He never mentioned the dry rot and never provided any documentation about any termites.  Eran did not even seem to know what dry rot was. <br><br>Their job looks beautiful but it is only superficial. The underlying problems were never brought to my attention. Had they been , I would have had the dry rot taken care of before the fascia board was repaired and replaced and the gutters put up. I would not have even been aware of these problems if Michael had not made his expensive proposal about drilling the holes in the roof . Because he could not explain why he recommended this, I had the termite inspection which revealed they had not done a proper job. When this was brought to their attention, they promised to make things right but never followed through. In short, my experience was horrible with this superficially very friendly company which did not know what it was doing.
