LOVE this place! Everybody is knowledgeable, professional, and kind hearted. I've had my lashes done by Kate, Shawna, and Hong. They are all super gentle and I practically fall asleep in their comfy beds while they work their magic! All of these amazing ladies ask what type of style you want and do their best to accommodate.I typically go for their Classic set of lashes and it makes them look natural and full. They recently added a Hybrid set and I absolutely adore them! It's like an in between version of a Classic and Volume set. I take really good care of my lashes and the Hybrid set still looks great, going on two and a half weeks. I have really fluttery eyelids whenever someone comes near my eyes so when I first started getting my lashes done here I was worried they wouldn't come out as great, but trust your lash technician! I've had lashes for awhile and have seen many wonderful lash artists in Boston and in the suburbs and in NYC.  I have loved all of the lovely ladies who have kept my eyes popping.  MaxiLash is a cut above the rest.  I feel like I've gone from working with amazing high school art teachers to having Michelangelo style my lashes.  Irina is, hands down, no question, the absolute best lash artist I've ever had the pleasure of working with.  The volume set she did for me is absolutely amazing!  Stunning!  The best lashes ever, they are beautiful, the retention is fabulous and I'm so so happy with their work!!  The app makes it easy to schedule and everyone is so kind at the studio, it's a pleasure to be there.  I am overwhelmingly impressed with this lash studio and highly recommend!!  I am so lucky to have found it!!!  Go right now!!! I had my lashes done for the first time at Maxilash almost two weeks ago. I was immediately impressed with their well-maintained, stylish little office. The receptionist was helpful and approachable. They answered all my questions and made me comfortable as a first-timer.Irina did my lashes. She approaches her work like an artist-- she understands shape and proportions, and was able to give me a  thorough consult to determine the best shape/length to compliment my features. During application, she checked in from time to time to make sure I was doing okay. The end result was exactly what I wanted--- glamorous and polished but in a subtle way. They feel super light and sometimes I forget that I'm wearing them.In these past two weeks, I've lost maybe 2-6 lashes a day, but they're still looking good. I do the gentle lash shampoo every other day and try not to sleep on my stomach or rub my eyes. I tend to have sensitive eyes and skin, but I haven't experienced any irritation from the adhesive or anything. As suggested by other reviewers, the extensions are pricey (especially with a top tier stylist). That being said, I don't want to cheap out on something as delicate and important as my eyes! And from a more superficial standpoint, I love the convenience of getting up and going out with no makeup, especially during the warm summer months. I've been wanting to review MaxiLash for a while, but wanted to visit enough times to give it an honest review. A few months in and I can proudly say that this place still rocks. All the stylists are great, but Ibby is my go to girl. She works magic during my fill time and the way she applies my lashes makes them look FULL even three weeks in. She's also super delicate when applying them on (plus have you seen her lashes? On fleek)While lashes in Boston can be expensive (and MaxiLash is no exception) their Instagram is always running awesome promotions that no other lash boutique in the area can beat.It took me a while to find it my first time there. This was my first time ever getting eyelash extensions. I was a bit scared of getting them because I heard if the technician does not know how to apply them well, you can get glue in your eye and irritate them, or the eye pads can be placed wrong and you can feel discomfort through out the whole procedure or the lashes can feel too heavy and can be intolerable. Well Kate was my technician and she was amazing. She was very nice and she asked questions to find out what exactly I wanted. She informed me about my lash care and the products I can use to clean them(she did not pressure me to buy anything). I think her speed on applying them was just right and I did not feel any discomfort what so ever. Once my lashes were done she asked me if I was okay and if I liked them. I loved them. A bit over priced considering I used to the get the same single lash full set installation service in NYC for under $100. But it's the best you'll find in Boston . From the moment I walked into MaxiLash, I felt taken care of. From the free cup of coffee in the cute waiting room to the stylist and service itself-- everything was professional, clean, and comfortable. I have only had my lashes in for 2 days but so far, they look great and I'm enjoying not having to wear so much makeup! I'm hoping they last a couple weeks and then I definitely plan on coming back. Kate did a wonderful job on my full set. I am very minimalist and wanted very natural looking eye lashes, and she ensured they were very natural looking, and made sure to ask about detailed preferences I had. She made the experience relaxing, and paid close attention to detail with my lashes, and also ensuring she gave me very detailed instructions on care. My first experience with MaxiLash left me excited but a bit disappointed. My lashes all fell out so fast, but it turns out I hadn't gotten the manual they normally give out. After sharing my experience, the girls at MaxiLash went out of their way to schedule me in again at a time that worked for me. Walking in last month they were quick to apologize again and provide a really comfortable experience. The process was warm and fuzzy (they have super soft blankets!) and the lashes looked amazing. This time I got very useful tips, like not brushing the lashes for the first 48 hours and not using oil-based makeup that have helped tremendously! I have very short natural eyelashes, to the point that even with mascara I can barely curl them. Kate did my volume eyelash extension and I am so happy, she did an excellent job! She worked on every individual eyelash and secured them perfectly and evenly on my natural eyelashes. My eyes look completely different- so beautiful and natural that people tell me I look stunning, and they can't tell that my eyelashes are fake. Kate is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Ive booked many appointments with her and Im always satisfied with my experience. First of all, she is soooo very comfortable to talk to, informative and detailed. What I really appreciate about her is the fact that she pays extra attention to the shape of my eyes in order to find the best flattering look. For a bit of a hooded eye girl myself, the last thing I want is my eyes to look more heavy. Instead, Kate makes them effortlessly POP and I notice I get so many compliments on them. I surely love how it makes me feel more put together even without any makeup on. The last time I got my lash extensions from her it lasted an entire eyelash cycle (about 3-4 weeks). Keep in mind, I live an active life style and it still looked kept together sweaty and all! It also beats having to apply mascara everyday or having mascara run into my eyes during heavy workouts after work. All in all, I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth and on a reasonable price too. Overall, I think she's exceptionally a great Lash Artist not to mention I always feel like a friend every time she works on me.
