Dr. Meng is a top acupuncturist in the area, certainly the best I have found. I initially went to her office last year for severe headaches. I could feel a big difference the same day. Within a few days, the symptoms, which had persisted over weeks, were all gone. Since then, I have been coming back semi-regularly for help with various issues: back pain, shoulder pain, insomnia, digestive issues, etc. My husband also started going to Dr. Meng. Dr. Meng once used cupping on him for his back pain, and it worked wonders.In addition to acupuncture, you can also get massage as part of the therapy, and the massage therapists (particularly, Ji) there are top notch. This place is a godsend and quiet serenity in the middle of Rockville. They genuinely care so much about making you feel your best and are SO knowledgeable. Cannot recommend enough.

Dr. Meng is fantastic. I was 7 months pregnant and could not sleep and had the worse cold and cough. My husband contacted her and explained her my health condition and asked her if we can come right away. She immediately gave us appointment. After she saw me she knew exactly how to treat me. She listens and answers all my questions and concerns. After few session I was sleeping well and my cold got better. I saw Dr. Meng every week for my treatment. She made me feel safe and comfortable. Maureen is a very nice lady that aims to make you feel better.  She has stayed after hours to accommodate my schedule and has giving me the "quick" version of treatment when I didn't have the time.  There are a few notable difference in this place:1: They take insurance!2: A massage comes with your treatment3: They provide acupuncture on a mechanical massage table, so you get a back massage while you wait with needles. Nice!4: They have a water alkalizer and they encourage patients to bring their own container to fill up and bring home.She knows exactly where to place the needles, because I can feel the electrical surge when placed.I recommend!
