Came here a few years ago and it was so so, but decided to give it another try. They have remodelled since and the menu now was fantastic with a lot of choices ! The food and service was AMAZING and the prices are very reasonable! We are local so this will be our new go to restaurant!! Couldn't be more impressed!! 5 Star!!! The pork BBQ on corn muffin topped with coleslaw was AMAZING! The apple dumpling was way under cooked and the waitress was upset that we didn't want to pay for it. The restaurant and bathrooms were super clean! Quaint atmosphere! But the cash register was a little off and when we pointed it out we were told it couldn't be resolved. My friend and I had the same order and her bill was rung up at 6% tax but my bill was rung up at seven and a half percent tax. Just a little annoyance. Not going to let a few cents ruin my experience but it did keep me from giving them a 5 star rating. More...

My husband and I visited Dunlap's a few weeks ago. We are not from the area and wanted to find a local owned restaurant to have dinner. We found Dunlap's by doing a Google search. We were greeted by one of the very friendly owners, quickly seated and greeted with smile by our young waitress (I cannot remember her name). We happened to go on their Fish Fry Friday. Let me tell you....you get a real piece of breaded or broiled fish. Not that frozen patty out of a box/bag; and it is all you can eat. You get so much food in the first course that you can't make it to the second order but it is well worth it and pleasantly priced. This establishment has a fantastic atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. The restrooms are immaculate and so is the dining area. All of the staff is super friendly and nice and the owners/managers are always readily available. If we are ever in the Gettysburg area again, we definitely will be return customers! More...
