I am from Colorado and everytime I come to Idaho I come to the Karlfeldt center for all my health concerns. The first time I came was for some awful recurring UTIs, Dr Brett Butterfield helped me and I've never had a UTI since. Literally magic! The second visit was with Dr Karlfeldt and it was for back pain I suspected was caused by inflammation. He put me on a strict candida diet and since then my back pain has gotten significantly better. I've lost 15 pounds and my skin has cleared. I now know I have a gluten and sugar intolerance. I'm sooo sooo grateful for these doctors who find the root of the problem and have given me a valuable knowledge of what is wrong and how to fix it. More...

I took my 5 year old daughter in to see Dr. Karlfeldt regarding her food allergies, and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The appointment was very relaxed and non-invasive, and my daughter really liked seeing her blood sample magnified on the computer screen. She now wants to be a doctor, because of Dr. Karlfeldt. I suffered a torn bicep tendon at the elbow in April of 2019. I acquired several consultations, but I ultimately reached out to Dr. Craig Smith, whom I've known for a number of years. He suggested the PRP injection and I am so glad I decided to do this. Several consultations suggested that I would have extremely limited use of my arm unless I had the tendon surgically reattached. After having the PRP, I literally had near full use of my arm within 2 months. I feel fantastic and I am now able lead an active lifestyle involving working out with weights with virtually no impact or residual effects. For anyone contemplating this procedure with Dr. Smith and his colleagues, I am a great example of the positive results. A year ago my daughter (13) was hospitalized for an unknown condition and had lost 10% of her bodyweight in a week and a half. We finally discovered medications had damaged the lining of her gut. After just 6 weeks of treatment from Dr. Karlfeldt, she had healed when the doctors said it would take 4-6 months. I was referred to the Karlfeldt Center for cold laser therapy on my Achilles while training for a marathon. Several weeks later I started having pain in my hip flexors. I was pretty certain that I would have to give up distance running due to the discomfort in these critical areas for running. I am happy to report that not only did I complete my marathon, but I broke the 4-hour mark!
