I was absolutely appalled by the staff there these young girls where so immature yet inappropriate as they laughed and carried on like I didn’t even exist as a customer! I cannot thank Dormont Florist enough. My fiancée and I were pretty indecisive about the flowers we wanted for our wedding reception, but Chris, the owner, was SO patient and helpful and made the entire process so easy for us. He walked us through all of the options, really listened to us, took our tastes in mind, and ensured that the arrangements were exactly what we wanted. He truly made our vision come to life and ultimately exceeded our expectations for the bouquet, boutonnières, and centerpiece arrangements. Everything was absolutely stunning! Dormont Florist provided the flowers for my sister in laws wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous. They made a crown of flowers for my daughter and it held up all night! Even with a million bobby-pins, cartwheels and general six year old mayhem. It was made so well. Most of the flowers from the wedding are still beautiful and it was almost 2 weeks ago! I have known the owner Chris for years now, and when I was running out of time to get flowers for my wedding I ran to him! When I went for my consultation, I told him my vision and I felt like he just read my mind before I even showed him pictures! He did the centerpieces and bouquets, and he also did corsages and boutonnières for our parents. I got countless compliments on all the flowers and and now looking back I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing them for us! If you are in need of flowers this is the place you need to go! I called Dormont Florist after reading their excellent YELP reviews. I asked them to create a sophisticated, contemporary bouquet to send to my relatives who had recently relocated to Pittsburgh from NYC. Their creation, based on a bridal bouquet I had seen on their web site, far exceed my expectations. These fellows are super talented, professional and accommodating. And considering the profundity of flowers in this bouquet, I also think reasonably priced.I will always use Dormont in the future and suggest you do too! More...

My husband left for Afghanistan and I received a beautiful arrangement from Dormont Florists with a hand written note from him. Then the next month came with another arrangement and another hand written note. I have received 11 so far...all hand written notes and all amazing arrangements. Josh went to them and wrote out every note, and they delivered, on the first Monday of every month, an amazing arrangement of flowers. The flowers last a week or more and are always top notch. They took pride in each and every one they delivered and I can't express how much it meant to me. Not many florists could pull this off.
