Donut Distillery

This was my first time giving Donut Distillery a try after my friend recommended this place. I did the coffee cocktail flight which its not to bad if I admit. The coffee cocktails were adequate size and good donuts soft and tasty. ** the one in East Nashville My 2 complaints: 1 the pictured coffee tasted like it has rubbing alcohol in it as well as smelled like it.Its not drinkable at all! 2. is with the red haired female cashier. She needs customer service training full on in depth training. When we arrived there was one other pair of customers she was helping prepare their order. As we stood at the register waiting she not once acknowledged us even though one time in her passing I saw her look out the corner of her eye. We stood there for a good 6-8 minutes. When she finally did come to take our order she seems very unhappy and maybe the front of the house is not for her. As a mini donut vendor myself we stopped in to try these donuts; they tried to pull out a tray of pre-made donuts so I asked if there was mix in the hopper to which he replied yes. I requested he made new donuts (I’ve wanted to see his operation at work) he tried to tell me the others were just made, I said again please make fresh donuts; we a “well, ok he finally ran off 4 donuts for our order” I have to say I wasn’t impressed. We used Donut Distillery for our wedding! They provided delicious mini donuts for our guests! Everyone raved about the donuts! Tennessee whiskey seemed to be the favorite among our guests! The mini donuts provided some variety to our dessert table! More...

Super sad, drove here all the way from Clarksville for my birthday just to do the coffee flight and the 2 people working said they weren’t trained to do that so I couldn’t get it. Ended up just getting a Carmel iced coffee that was just eh not my favorite. My son liked his doughnut milkshake and the doughnuts were ok. I do recommend for the donuts because they are superb and I am a next level donut lover! 🍩❤️ My one piece of constructive criticism would be regarding customer service. I had a long work day ahead of me on Saturday so I ordered online the night before. It was a solid ten minutes before any employee even acknowledged me. This defeats the purpose of pre-ordering. This is not the first time. The last time we were there, an employee had to be tracked down simply so we could place our order. If the customer service could match the quality of the donuts, this would definitely be a five star experience. More...
