William has done an excellent job with us while training Maya, our baby bound for obedience issues. He really did a great job in training us first, and then the dog. It is us humans that need to understand what they (the dogs) see in us to truly change their attitude and become more obedient animals. He left us with homework after every meeting. William is a wonderful trainer. He genuinely cares about the dogs and has an incredible rapport with them. He understands dog behavior and taught my daughter and me how to manage our energetic golden doodle. We had to be trained as much as the puppy . William came to our home for a behavioral consult on our latest family addition, a 5 year old rescue named Tipton We had such a great experience. He was very respectful of our home, our family and wore a mask. We had a great conversation where he could leave about Tipton and he could give us some great tips. Tipton is my 9 year old son’s dog, William did an awesome job working with my son to show him how patience, kindness, and firmness can work together to train Tipton. We had a behavioral consult with William for our 11 week old puppy Lulu. I was debating for awhile whether or not to call, wondering if it was too early. We’d started some simple training on our own but wanted to be sure we were setting her up for success during her “prime time” of socialization & behavior development. We learned a lot of great tips to address some of the puppy excitement & instincts and lots of tweaks for the things we’d had in place. Training truly started the moment he came into the door. He is a gentle, knowledgeable, and honest trainer whose love for animals and passion for helping his clients is obvious! Our two dogs looooove going to Dogman training! They eagerly sit in the car and watch for William to come get them. The socialization and exercise has been great for their temperaments.
