Violent, malicious, hateful staff at work. Restaurant attempted to ban me as a delivery driver when I politely and properly informed them that I was cancelling a delivery order because it would take too long (this is standard practice). The staff member I talked to became violent and starting spewing spit out from behind his mask (this is how outrageous and rabid this man was) and began treating me like I was abandoning a small child or puppy. For reference these staff members don't gain/lose money if an order is cancelled or picked up ever, AND they are fully compensated by Uber, Doordash, Etc. before the order is even created. So this staff member had NO RIGHT to make me feel physically unsafe. When I informed them I was leaving, another staff member peckishly doubled down and told me to leave, which I replied "I already am, no need to ask me because I have no order to pick up?" At this point, the first staff member started stomping around throwing a childish temper-tantrum and started FOLLOWING me out of the store. He was following so close I could have stopped in my tracks, which would have awarded him a Physical Assault Charge from police (thankfully I kept walking so he didn't physically hurt me). Do not give this company any business whatsoever. They have proven they are not capable of handling it. This staff member needs to be fired immediately. This is totally inappropriate behavior from a staff member. They're acting like children working at McDonalds, instead of a fancy Beer-House. Grow up before you end up closed for good because you accidentally end up assaulting another customer or delivery driver. Close this business now. Disgusting dredges. More...

Great place to drop in. Fantastic selection of craft brews, good menu selection, and a team of folks that are just down right friendly.  Brought my granddaughter and our family here on a Sunday afternoon. Just returned from my first visit--this is a great place.  The staff is very friendly and the food was not the same old stuff you get everywhere.  I can only comment on what I had--the cole slaw was stupendous--unusual, with a bit of heat, it tasted like it was fresh today--sooo good.  I was a vegan for 7 years--I'm not anymore, but I lean that way, so I had the impossible burger--It was delicious with just the right amount of heat.  I will be back to try other options--their menu is varied.  The set up is open and inviting--sports bar chic.  For those on the road to vegas or wherever it is a super quick on-off at the baseline offramp in the new Sycamore Plaza straddling both Upland and Claremont.   I am glad you are only 2 miles away. My friends and I wanted to catch up, so we easily sat at the bar on a Sunday night. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating despite how packed it was. Food came out almost immediately, had the cowboy: which I am a fan of the crispy onions against the cheese. Not bad price wise, and of course since it's Victoria Gardens plenty of parking and easy to walk around for dessert after. More...

The woman who takes your order is a breath of fresh air. She really sets you off on a good note. We came on a night when the kids meal was free. Which was good because my kid wouldn't eat his corn dog. We really wanted to try the "impossible" burger so my mom and I ordered one and a regular cheeseburger to compare. The impossible burger was quite tasty but had some kick to it. I wasn't expecting it to be spicy. I honestly couldn't tell it wasn't real meat. It was pretty filling so I never got to try the regular cheeseburger. We shared fries and onion rings as well. My mom felt the King's Hawaiian rolls were a little too sweet for the burger and made it kinda messy to eat. They fell apart a bit while eating due to all the fillings. (My brother's cheeseburger was missing the bottom bun) They do have a good selection of beers. The men in our party did enjoy their selections. More...

ALLOW ME TO SET THE STAGE UPON WHICH THIS MEAL WAS CONSUMED.You have just come down the Stoddard peak trail located in Mt. Baldy. Up the road a ways. The trail was long and hot 6 miles in the 90 degree sun. The sun drained you of every last ounce of energy. The only conceivable item that could replenish your drained soul is a burger between a Hawaiian roll. Doghaus is the best and only option. I ordered the Holy Aioli and the cheese tots pictured below. This is roughly the 8th Holy Aioli  I have had from doghaus over 3 locations Pasadena, West Covina, claremont. Not one of my visits has been less than satisfactory. The burger while cooked well done still retains a moist mouth feel because of the caramelized onions and melted white American cheese. The cheese tots were a big surprise because in my opinion. I have had the chili cheese tots before and I found it to be over flavored. The cheese tots are better balanced. Doghaus is a must visit! More...

I was so pleasantly surprised by the amount of space and the great layout!! The indoor/outdoor is great. You can meet new people if you'd like by sitting at a long table with others or keep to yourself at a table just for your party. The food was good and the service was cool too!  I enjoyed the amount of elbow room we had and the options of a bar. Even though I am not one for "spirits" I often hang with those that are. On this particular weeknight I was too popped to cook so the hubby and I popped in to check out this newer to thw area restaurant. We were full and happy and will Definitely consider this a great option when cooking is not of interest to the family cook that night. Cool hang out for sure. More...

Burgers were tasty if a little messy but I think that's okay and what they're going for. Bummer that my order was messed up by the cashier who seemed a little distracted when I ordered. I ordered the Huli-Huli (sausage with an Asian/Hawaiian slant) and I got the Holy Aioli (bacon, onion & garlic aioli) Burger. I understand how she messed it up with the flashback to the 80's being pumped throughout the restaurant. The problem is I hate mayonnaise so I've never liked aioli even if they aren't the same thing. Like I said the burger was tasty but I would have preferred the sausage. The beer was tasty and they have a nice selection. You could just go there for the beer and be okay. Food is very good, and reasonably priced.  The staff  is friendly, attentive, and professional.  The restaurant design, ambiance and music are great.   The only problem is the seating.    Metal benches without back rest!  It is very uncomfortable which is too bad because the restaurant has a great TV set up for sports.  Possibly it was designed that way to turn tables over quicker, but none the less it's still uncomfortable even for a 30 minute meal and beer.  While the fine selection of craft beer is impressive it would be great to have one simple domestic on tap.  Over all it is solid 5 Star best utilized for a quick meal and drink. Dog Haus is an awesome gem of a franchise to have in LA. There aren't many places out here where you can get a filling, non-fast-food meal for $7-$9, so this is always a great spot when you're stretching the last few dollars before pay day. The food is great and they do a good job of offering a variety of different flavor profiles all wrapped up in those tasty Hawaiian roll buns. One of the things that keeps me coming back to Dog Haus is that they're always switching up the menu. Every few months they try a new, limited menu item and occasionally they'll bring in something exciting to add to their permanent menu.  The recent exciting addition, and the reason I stopped back in today, is the new Impossible 2.0 burger. I'm not a vegetarian, but I like to keep my red meat consumption down. Unfortunately, the original Impossible Burger didn't agree with me, so I was excited when I found out their 2.0 version was made with entirely different ingredients. I highly recommend the Impossible 2.0 burger for herbivores and omnivores alike. I was actually blown away at how much it tasted like real beef. I had a moment where I questioned whether or not they'd given me a regular burger by mistake. My word of warning for anyone looking to try the Impossible 2.0 at Dog Haus: A regular Impossible Burger is only $6.99, however if you want to get an Impossible patty on a Haus Burger (their specialty burgers), expect to pay a whopping $4.99 up-charge. While $13.50 is still a pretty good deal for a large plant-based burger in LA, the cashier didn't warn me about the up-charge and I didn't notice until after I'd paid. I went in excited about a cheap burger, so I would have stuck to the traditional burger had I known. I still highly recommend Dog Haus regardless and I'll continue to stop by anytime I'm craving a great dog. More...

The Dog Haus Biergarten is a superb little watering hole to pop in if you are around the Old Town Pasadena area. A little history behind the building- It was formerly a jail house back in the 1800's. There is a lot of character and charm in the exterior of the building, not so much inside but the cheap sliders and beers during their generous happy hour more than make up for it. The brats are also a great option and for those of you who aren't beer fans, not to worry..there is an extensive mixed drink and wine list as well. We went on a double date and had a blast sipping brews and grubbing on sliders while playing some board games. A must visit pub in the old town area for sure! More...

New England local here trying out a great place recommended by my lyft driver, who also happens to be an Elite Yelp Reviewer. Quick drop in from our hotel on the main strip, 3minute walk, this Dog Haus sausage/hot dog/eco-friendly had exactly the kinda food I was craving after a 7hr flight from Boston. After choosing the new York style hot dog and cheese fries I got to work on picking a non-New England stapled beer. The Maui Bikini Blond Lager was a perfect fit. The hot dog was a smooth mix of equal meat VS bun, never having more of one than the other. The dressings were spot on tho a tad bit of black pepper and salt could pull that NY dog to life. The cheese fries were interesting. Semi-drowned but in a good "I'm having beer and a Dog Haus dog" kinda way. My only thought was be sure to eat the fries while they are hot, the cheese turns to a plastic-y hard substance. However, the cheese tasted like a spin between beer cheese and nacho cheese which I really enjoyed! The seating area was gastro-pub like, simple but hardy and hip. Clean and well thought out. My only pain was my back l, there were no chairs with back support while trying to uncontrollably wolf down a delicious dog. The staff were busy, but curious and polite. A great repreave from bitter NE fast food. All in all a 4 out of 5 is well deserved with a promise that I happily will return to grab a hot dog and walk the main strip happily. :) it truly is the Haus of the Dog.
