About

My mother Dinorah and I came to America from Cuba in 1981. My mom cooked for everyone in the South Florida neighborhood we lived in, and growing up, I learned by watching her. She cooked because she had to. She wasn’t a chef. She didn’t use recipes, take measurements, wear a puffy white hat. She just cooked to get by. Real, authentic, homemade food for the neighborhood.



My mother was a dynamic person. With her Cuban cooking, she shared her warmth with everyone that ate her food. Everything I know now, I know because of her. My tribute to her is to continue serving real, delicious Cuban food for my customers and keep passing on her legacy, all in her name.
