DJ Stephen is amazing!! He really came through for us and it was a Wednesday! From the moment we had our first meeting to the day of, he communicated with us and ensured we were all set! He really got the crowd engaged and really lit up the dance floor!! We hired Stephen as well for our photo-booth! The photos came out amazing… he created a custom frame that matched our color scheme!! It was a huge it. They also provided us with a QR code that made it easy to look at all our photos which we had a good laugh seeing everyone having fun! I highly highly recommend DJ Stephen and his co-host Courtney! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
For me it starts weeks before any event. Working with couples personally to build the perfect playlist for them and their guests. From there I put together the right music for their night. By reading the crowd it's easy to make adjustments to make sure they stay on the dancefloor. With a very extensive and comprehensive library and a deep knowledge of music I can make a seamless flow of music and entertainment. With that said, the crowd follows the guests of honor. If you are on the dance floor, your guest will be on the dance floor.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I bring a lighthearted but charismatic energy to every event. My style is wedding style, your style. Every event is quite different with different crowds. I enjoy engaging with people as I work the crowd to make sure each person is having a great time. By the end of the night, we're family.
What do you love most about your job?
I love people and celebrating with people at their highs. Being a part of your special day and being part of making sure that your day is one to never forget is everything in this business. The only thing better than a smile, is a crowd of smiles.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being available has inspired me to go out on my own. This makes me the most available for people. I love the flexibility of my schedule. There is nothing worse than telling people that I am not available.
