I hosted my daughters 8th grade formal. Found DJRad online and could not be happier. Great communication! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
1) You need to have the right equipment for the particular event
2) An energetic DJ who knows how to read the crowd
3) All of the music selections for the particular crowd you are entertaining
How would you describe your ‘style’?
We try to let the party or reception be for the people who have hired us. We do not try to be the "star."
Receptions and various parties and dances should be about the guests and not about us.
What do you love most about your job?
1) Meeting and mingling with great people
2) Learning about various genres of music we may not be familiar with
3) HAVING FUN!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our son started the biz and we were helping out. He decided to move out of town and we just kept the DJ biz going. Since we love to dance and we love music, it seemed like the perfect fit for us for us to continue what he started.
Now, 10 years and over 200 events later...we are still enjoying being a DJ!
