Paul has what I call “DJ Superpowers” . He was the DJ for our wedding and whether we were in a dancing mood or relaxing by the fire pit he played the perfect songs! Planning a wedding is hard enough so it’s nice to have someone I can depend on to make our night fun! More...

DJ Paul Young was a Fantastic DJ!
From the initial planning to the running of the timeline the night of the wedding everything went amazingly.
He knew how to keep the dance floor rocking and people engaged with the music and various events we had planned throughout the night.
He is an excellent choice for any event you need entertainment for!

Paul Young was fantastic as our DJ! The lighting was beautiful and he allowed us to request whatever songs we wanted. He was super flexible with the ceremony songs we wanted to play and his interactions with the guests were very fun!
What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Taking requests from guests and mixing them into the play list at the right time is important- sometimes I play a request within seconds of the request coming in. I also make sure there is a variety of beats and styles to keep it fresh. I know the best moments to fade out of a song early and have the best "in points" for hits that don't need the full intro.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
A client that booked me yesterday had seen me at two other events and he pointed out that he liked the way I keep dancers energized. An article in Minnesota Bride (Fall/Winter 2002) said that I have a "Friendly style of interaction." It is a combination of paying attention to the room, how they are reacting to a song, and and editing / mixing as we go. I am careful to not go "over the top" but I DO use body language, the microphone and lighting instruments to keep things interesting.
What do you love most about your job?
Compliments at the end of the night, especially from guests who have attended many events and are able to pinpoint exactly what I do that outshines the competition.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a business degree from the University of St. Thomas
