Diversity Café and Catering is a Full Service Catering Company. We offer FREE use of our event space if you buy a catering package. We are located in Washington County , about 20 minutes from Portland. We work with all budgets & offer on site catering as well.

They are extremely affordable and worked with my budget to offer an amazing dinner for 40 guests at the Cornelius Library. I cannot recommend them highly enough! All of the food was delicious, but the macaroni and cheese was seriously exceptional. Tanya and staff are professional, quick to respond to questions and made catering planning a breeze. My fiancée and I researched several different venues for our engagement party. Diversity came to mind because we have eaten there and listened to the live bands as well. When I contacted them via Facebook Janelle responded immediately. We went over dates and times and although I was originally looking at a later time frame Janelle encouraged us to think about an earlier party which turned out to be perfect! Their communication about budget and menu was superb and Taunya’s set up, display and hospitality was impeccable! The evening was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and better than we expected and the extras were boxed and bagged for us and they even slipped in a piece of yummy cake! Even though nothing really stands out about Diversity Cafe, it is a solid spot for breakfast/lunch and provided us with a very pleasant meal in the Forest Grove area. The menu here is pretty diverse, offering great options for lunch like burgers, sandwiches, and tacos, but also has many dinner entrees like steak & beef brisket. My favorite thing on the menu were the fish tacos ($11). The salmon was delicious, and the sauce was very light, making it perfect for lunch. It also comes with tortilla chips and salsa! I was pretty disappointed by the chicken wings though. They were probably the most underwhelming wings I've had. I'd recommend to stay away from these.The big menu is also somewhat misleading as the tacos fall under the "burgers/sandwiches" section, which states that it comes with your choice of fries or tater tots. We ordered the tacos under the assumption that we'd also get tater tots/fries but were eventually charged for them. Thankfully our server was able to take that off for us.The service here was quick & friendly. I enjoyed my meal and would love to try out the other things on this huge menu. If you're unsure of a place for breakfast or lunch in the forest grove area, this is a great choice! More...

pretty much *the* place to go to in Forest Grove! things were a little rough in the kitchen when it got started... but i think things are ironed out there now. good food... large portions... but what really rocks at Diversity is... well... rock & roll! since they expanded next door you'll get great live local bands at least twice a week... and great karaoke on the other side! can't miss! Really nice place. First time there I live in forest grove new knew I was actually so nice inside. Our waitress was quite nice and helpful and not overbearing. I'll be back . How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We LISTEN! That's right, we care about each dish that comes out of our home, ( kitchen) and into yours. The Catering manager walks through every detail of every job to ensure your custom menu is exactly what you want and would expect.
What do you love most about your job?
People and Food! I have made the food and beverage industry my career choice, and have spent my life working in all areas restaurants and bars, from server, to bartender, to General Manager and now Catering. I switched to catering 5 years ago . I enjoy my job because it's something new every day. I get to do site visits at beautiful venues and talk with people about food and parties!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We wanted to bring something special to the area in which our restaurant is at. We wanted to bring people quality food, full tummies and smiling faces.

We will work hard for you & are budget friendly. We offer Free tastings and consultations in our establishment, and free catering coordination with our Catering Manger who is on site at every event and is available 7 days a week to serve you better.
