Chris H****** and his team really came through on the sale of my late uncle’s estate despite my making it as difficult as possible for them. Originally, I promised to give Chris ample time to prepare and run the sale, include some attractive articles in the offering, and stay out of the way during cleanup. Instead, I ended up coming off as a bait-and-switch artist. First, my realtor scheduled a last-minute termite-repair/tenting job that cut into Dignity’s back-end cleanup schedule. Then my cousins — who originally showed little interest in the estate — not only arrived late in the process to collect their heirlooms (compressing the schedule even more), but made off with every last nice artifact. And my late uncle’s girlfriend refused to move out of the house on time, getting underfoot as Chris and his team tried to set up. Despite it all, Chris and his colleagues, Brad and Silvia, remained upbeat and friendly and executed an excellent sale that produced the estate several thousand dollars and left the house clean and empty. Chris and his employees made a very difficult situation easy and smooth. My cousin passed away leaving years of collectibles and a house full of furnishings that needed to be sold. To say the least the house was packed full. They came in organized everything and in a two day sale disposed of the majority of the household. They then cleaned the entire house and left it in selling condition. The home sold within a week of the sale! I can not say enough about what a great group this was to work with.
