I had a party catered by Diane Douglaston Catering. I found her services to be top notch, The food was delicious as we had hot & cold buffet for a high school graduation party we had. It was expertly prepared delicious flavors & seasoned perfectly. We had appetizers to begin the party, followed by a full buffet table with salads, breads, meats, vegetables etc.. It was a big hit and all the guests loved the food. We had cake, coffee and other desserts which really rounded out the evening. She is very professional & a pleasure to deal with. We have used Diana Douglaston catering for the past 3 years for our Christmas Eve dinner. We have always been pleased with Diana’s service and quality of food is excellent.
Diana is extremely easy to work with & responsive to our needs. All of our guests enjoyed their meals. Appetizers were delicious! I highly recommend Diana.

What’s your signature dish?
All of our dishes are signature dishes. Our team of trained professionals bring their own signature style to every event. As a team we collaborate on every menu for every event producing a delicious, clean, healthy and mouth tantalizing menu for you and your guests to enjoy.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Our menus are all customized. We take great care and place alot of attention to our conversations regarding a client's event. We discuss dietary restrictions and special diets. It's important to capture their verbal images about what they want served. Whether a themed event, a special milestone, a product launch, executive board meeting, a staff meeting we will create a menu the clients expects.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people daily. We take great joy in learning about your event and the details involved. It is very important to have constant communication with the client so that the planning process is as detailed as detailed can get. Having open channels with all the vendors allows for a smooth event.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For many years I would cater for friends and family and would always hear "When are you going to start your own catering company"? , "Someday", I'd reply. The opportunity arrived where I decided to attend Culinary school. I continued my catering education by working with catering companies in New York City and in 2013 Diane Douglaston Catering Company was born.
