Words fall short to explain the beauty in the memories and love that Diana captured during our family sunflower session. It has taken me over 4 years to print and hang family photos in our home. The day Diana sent our collection, I printed my favorites and purchased frames to hang them in our home immediately. Yes, that’s how much I adore these photos.
Diana is extremely professional while also treating you like family all at the same time. We all felt so at ease during our session. I always struggled with what to wear and how to pair our outfits. Diana to the rescue! She helped with providing me a gorgeous dress and she styled my husband and sons outfits as well so we all looked and felt amazing.

tl;dr: magical photos, incredible experience pre, during, and post session, absolute unicorn balance of professionalism, creativity, and humanness. For some quick additional context on me: Pregnancy has been a very weird and physically taxing experience. I haven’t felt beautiful, comfortable, or peaceful the whole time. Think a sampler platter of every miserable symptom they share to scare teenagers away from getting pregnant, and I’m the poster child. After searching for photographers (for months) whose style I liked, no matter where they were in the US, I had decided I wasn’t going to do a maternity shoot. Baby girl was just gonna have to review some try hard iPhone shots to see herself as a belly. My sister found Diana on Instagram, sent me an example, and suddenly insecurities be damned, I had to have her. A short DM later and we were booked! Also, I work at Amazon and deeply know what it means to be customer obsessed. I’ve seen a significant portfolio of examples that blow a client/ customer away, but I truly don’t think I’ve seen the best until Diana. PRE SESSIONLeading up to the session, I didn’t know what I didn’t know, ya know? She had it all covered. From the odyssey of finding outfits to the logistics of finding a location. (Two states away from her home)She did her homework on many different clothing styles, and had a repertoire of recommendations and options in her own collection. She did her research on my preferences to point me in the perfect direction. Of course, when I found the perfect dress, it got lost in transit in Singapore. Did that stop Diana from making these pictures magical? Nope. She drove to my house the morning of the shoot, with options that saved the day. She gave my husband and I recommendations for coming prepared to the shoot, to stay warm and comfortable come hell or high water. It was very important to me that my husband was a happy camper for these pics, and he was already out on a limb agreeing to take them with me. She even had a button up for him that fit perfectly, and made him feel great. He didn’t even have to fake it for me. DURING SESSIONShe was brave, flexible, and adventurous. She had scouted the perfect, magical location. She created a very peaceful and fun atmosphere to relax into. It was down pouring all day and for the first 30 minutes into our session, yet she was still maintaining a positive and optimistic atmosphere. She came prepared for herself and for us. She had blankets to keep us warm and dry and liquids to keep us hydrated and entertained. The rain finally stopped, the clouds parted just enough to let the last bits of a Pacific Northwest sunset shine through, and because it wasn’t already magical enough Diana somehow summoned the fog to settle in among the trees and hills. There were so many moments I would have chickened out, had a mediocre or disappointing experience, or could have just felt bad about myself. Body image shot, dress lost in transit, wildcard husband participation, physically hampered, and an unusual (even for Seattle) down pour. But we had a blast, and I felt more beautiful, supported, comfortable, and peaceful than I’d felt in years. POST SESSION I don’t know if I can brag too much because I don’t want to reveal all of the magician’s secrets, but rest assured the results reflected the experience, and are absolutely treasured. Diana is the most talented photographer I’ve worked with yet. You don’t only get amazing photos, you get all the “little things” that are the biggest things. Diana works with you each step of the way to make sure that your time spent during the session is nothing less than magical and what you envisioned. Diana has such positive energy and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. I left feeling like our session was such a great experience. Diana is truly an amazing. She corresponded with me months prior to our session discussing eveyrthing from color pallets, to vision, to outfit choices and even offered to provide some dresses for me if I wasnt able to find something in time. She doenst do this is a job, she does it because she loves it and you can feel it from the instant you meet her. I dont know about most fiances, but mine was not "super excited" to take picutres for hours but wtih Diana's guidance and comfortable vibe, he was able to actually have a great time with it. The final product far exceeded my expectations and we used SIX of the pictures for our save the date. Couldnt pic just one :) Looking forward to framing these for our home and using them for the wedding guest book as well. Thank you, Diana! We love our pics and love you! More...

I can not express enough how grateful I was to stumble upon Diana Christine Photography. I wanted to have "mommy and me" photos done with my son, and I refused to spend my money on JCPenny Portraits. I have only ever experienced a photo session in a studio. I took a leap of faith and booked Diana Christine. She is one helluva photographer! She works with you on every step of the way in order to create the most perfect photo session. From helping style and coordinate outfits, to finding beautiful picturesque locations. She is so kind and patient, and really does everything she can to make you feel comfortable during the session. Diana was great with my toddler who is very shy and mostly serious when taking pictures. She captured the true bond between my son and I. I will forever cherish these photos I have and I would highly recommend Diana Christine if you are looking for someone to capture your family in the most purest form. More...
