I met Derald and DG Visionaries at a bridal expo when I overheard him talking to a bride a few spots ahead of me in line and he said, “I just like to instigate people and get the party going. ” Between that and the energy that he was exuding, I instantly knew that he had the right personality to keep a reception going. When my fiancé and I met with Derald to discuss the details of our wedding, Derald was extremely organized and professional, but also very warm and caring; he genuinely wanted to know about us so that he could tailor his work to our specific reception. In a last-ditch effort to try and incorporate many of our loved ones who were unable to attend our wedding, we hired DG Visionaries to also livestream our wedding. Again, Derald was very organized, professional, and prompt in communication to help us put this in action. He livestreamed our full ceremony at the church, and then moved venues to livestream the live Irish band we had at cocktail hour and continued to livestream through the end of the mother-son dance. As the reception went on, that is where the real magic happened! To say that Derald kept people engaged and kept the party going is an understatement. He is, without exaggeration, the number one thing that people talked about at the wedding and the best DJ any of us has ever seen in action. So many guests asked me if we knew Derald outside of wedding planning, and I even asked a few guests if they knew Derald outside of the reception, because Derald is just that guy that will make best friends with anyone and make sure that person has a good time. Derald made sure to play everyone’s favorites and even joined the dance floor to make sure people were having a good time. During my search for a wedding DJ I spoke with countless others as I was looking for a very specific experience. I can honestly say that during my search Derald was the only person who met all the criteria I was wanting. I was wanting a professional, fun personality to keep things upbeat and moving. He absolutely blew my expectations out of the water with the day of performance. I needed someone who was extremely organized during the planning process; again he exceeded expectations. Derald was willing to meet several times to go over all the details and answer my many questions.

The day of the wedding everything regarding him went absolutely flawless. He was willing to remain flexible with last minute details that changed. The guest knew exactly what was happening when (another one of my major concerns). The announcements discussed were all in place. Most importantly he kept the guest entertained, interactive, and out on the dance floor. The music choices left up to him were perfect! There is absolutely nothing I would have changed with the experience working with Derald. I cannot recommend him highly enough!! To anyone looking for a fantastic DJ, Derald is your guy!! More...

My fiance and I fell in love with Derald and his team at our first meeting. Starting out,we weren't sure what we wanted and Derald was extremely helpful and professional in that area and immediately helped us feel at ease! On our wedding day everything flowed so smoothly and beautifully....Our families absolutely loved Derald and his team, especially his video team!! We are soo grateful we decided to have them do our wedding video! The video absolutely captures our wedding day,all the emotions, lots of moments we don't want to forget!! He is a people pleaser and definitely knows how you bring the mood up to dance and sing along too. He is willing to take people suggestion and also gets involved to make it a lot more fun.
