I am a member of the bluegrass band Mainline Express. We needed professional photos and a short video taken for our website and Facebook page to promote our band. The recording studio (Sound Biscuit Productions) had worked with DF Productions in the past. So we said okay lets use them. We were extremely pleased by the professional and personal attention that Jake had given us. He took his time to make sure we had professional staged and candid shots of the band inside the studio and outside as well. He also shot endless video footage of the band actually recording in the studio as well as video taping us jamming. I didn't realize how much time and resource goes into a video just one minute long. Jake used a backing track of the band and must say it exceededour expectations. What do you love most about your job?
Doing something new. All the time. This job takes us to amazing places and to meet amazing people, We've been on the wrestling ring, working in sugar shacks, top of cherry pickers, jamming with members of Journey, touring medical facilities in Mexico, brewing with Brew Masters, zip-lining, all with a camera in hand. You never know where you are going to be week to week.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I like liking what I do. I get to choose which clients I want to work with and I get to create what I want to create on a a daily basis.
