We believe bringing your space to life comes through conversation, collaboration and following good design principles. We also believe that good sourcing can fall between any budget and should express your style across brands, genres and times to create something that is curated for you.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
At design curations, like an encyclopedic museum, we don't adhere to one style or time period. Good design is design that is best drawn from you, the customer, and your needs, wants, taste and your appreciation of beauty. This is highly personal and we aim to create your space like a canvas painted for you and you alone.
What do you love most about your job?
Collaborating and drawing on inspiration from my clients. I love when a project comes to fruition and the client realizes they had just as much a part in the decisions and choices as I did, so that they are in the design all the time. I am the facilitator to help bring it to life and make it cohesive.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a child I made my own Barbie furniture. My imagination always went into living spaces and how to move things to create beauty. Space and the imagination within it has always been my canvas, my artistic outlet. After working in museums for a decade and teaching art history and museum studies, I realized my creativity needed an outlet too. I love collaborating with clients on design and creating beauty for them.
Why should our clients choose you?
As an art educator and former art historian and museum educator, I bring a keen eye for artistic composition to space. Like a gallery in a museum, your home should be curated. While that may conjure up ideas of stuffiness, its not. It is about being purposeful and careful on where items are placed and how they are placed to meet the function and need of your space and lifestyle. That is what curating means. Bringing together objects for clients is something I enjoy and see it as a form of artistry. I can work within budgets of all sizes and find it important for me and my clients to project manage with budget and cost always in mind.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Since the pandemic, I have worked 100% online with clients in various states. This has expanded my business and reach. Both clients and myself have found that working remotely has actually made the process more efficient in terms of time management.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In 2019, I was doing home staging as well as interior design. That worked until COVID hit and then the business became about interior design and working remotely. I have worked with dozens of clients across states using technology to communicate. It has been most successful and actually time efficient for all of us.

Interior Design Consultation
It is an existing or new space that needs editing, updating, possibly renovation or will be a whole new makeover. It is consulting to create it for you; it is a new design and includes complete walk-thru, design thoughts, ideas and recommendations, and site measurements.

Color Consult
It is for interior design or staging, when you want to reimagine the colors in your life. Color has the biggest impact in space and often is the simplest and least expensive thing to change. For interior design, it can be personal and infinite in an array of possibilities. For staging, it is about neutralizing and making color effective, welcoming and inviting for everyone.
Includes research and choices for colors, consultation and collaboration on right choices for space and design plan.
Interior Design Project
A percentage based fee based on total project.
After the initial interior design consult, it is a creation of a new design personalized and customized in collaboration with you. It is taking your ideas and helping you visualize them and then bringing them to life for you. It includes budgeting and estimates, project management, design, research, sourcing, materials, planning, and installation. A straight fee based structure allows transparency for material costs, allows us to pass designer retail discounts to you directly without mark-ups, and is all-inclusive for time and for any and all budgets.
~20% retainer of the estimated fee (this is a percentage of the total) due to contract services
~50% product deposit due once design is finalized
