To this day I will tell you the best Short Ribs I ever had was at Delucas. I must add more to this list. Yesterday I went to preview the new menu and all I can say is WOW. I always thought I didn't like Stuffed Artichoke, now I only love it from one place. It was not like any stuffed artichoke I ever had (please don't tell my mom). Now for the rest of the menu:Vongole Oregnata - best baked clams I ever had Mamas Meatballs - I love the hot meatballs with the cold ricotta! Gamberetti Toscana - I am a big fan of pasta fagioli, it's reminded me of that, but with shrimp addedSpedini Alla Romana - wow, what a twist on fried cheese. They paired it with a white wine sauce with anchovies and capers. Don't worry, if your like me and don't like little fish looking at you ..... it must be chopped. It's delicious. Lobster Garganelli - home made pasta in a pink lobster sauce with chopped lobster. It was delicious. Ravioli with BroccoliRabe - probably has an official name, that I can't remember, but he said that it's a special they carry a lot. It was delicious. The ravioli was so fresh and creamy. Rigatoni with Truffle Cream sauce- delicious if you love truffle.Pollo Prosecco- delicious tender chicken in a delicious cream wine sauce with sun dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Stuffed Filet of sole- stuffed with a mix of seafood. When I was trying to see what kid you could see chunks of crab and shrimp inside. It has a delicious lobster cream sauce. Now for the service. This place is a well oiled machine. All of the servers are friendly, quick and efficient. Last time I was there it was packed, and even then they were amazing. You can tell they they love their job. AMAZING!!!!! Came here Saturday night with my girlfriends and loved it!!! Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners mom Kim, she was so sweet and personable! !! Our server Javier was great, very knowledgeable and accommodating. We all shared Mamma's Meatballs, Baked Clams, and the Stuffed artichoke for appetizers. They were all amazing, especially the meatballs, ABSOLUTELY THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!! For main course I had the beggars purse pasta... PHENOMENAL!!! My friends had the veal chop Milanese and the truffle rigatoni pasta, they both loved it. Rob the owner was such a gentleman, he came over to our table multiple times to see how we were enjoying everything. He shared stories with us about his family recipes which he uses at DeLuca's. After seeing this restaurant being praised multiple times I finally decided I needed to see what the hype was all about. My boyfriend and I came here on a Thursday night and made reservations although it wasn't too crowded when we were there. They have valet which is good because there isn't too much street parking available on busy Amboy road. The menu has a lot of options and in addition to that, they had many specials that the waiter told us about. We tried the Italian egg roll, which was one of the specials, and we really liked it (stuffed with sausage, peppers, broccoli rabe I think, and mozz). We also had a pot of mussels with red sauce, and I really liked the sauce. For dinner, I got the chicken martini which I thought was like a cheesier chicken Francese. It came with risotto which was what made me want to try it (I love risotto and rarely see it on menus). I liked the dish as a whole, but it wasn't my absolute favorite thing so I probably wouldn't order it again. I had white sangria with my meal which was tasty and fresh. What I really loved was the service-- both the waiter and bus boys were very sweet and attentive making sure we were enjoying our meal and continuously bringing out more bread for my boyfriend lol. I think that it's quite a pricey menu so it's not somewhere I'd go frequently, but for a special occasion the ambiance, food, and service are a good fit. More...

DeLucas food is top notch and absolutely delicious. Mamas meatballs are the best Ive ever tasted. The people are warm and welcoming. The bar is beautiful. Drinks are perfectly on point. The service is all male, (which I prefer) warm and friendly, yet very professional. The Food at DeLuca’s is some of the best food you will ever have on planet earth! I had the lemon sole which is to die for and my mother had the same thing! The Fish melted in my mouth and the sauce was the best I have ever tasted in my life! Mr Rob Deluca and his mother Kim are incredibly kind people and treat their customers like their own family! It’s the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to on Staten Island and one of the best in the world! I highly recommend this restaurant to whoever wants great food at a reasonable price! The portions were fantastic as well! I did not leave hungry at all! In fact I took some food home with me! The deserts were out of this world as well! Went to Delucas tonite to continue my birthday celebration Food and service was excellent. At the end of the nite my aunts leftover dinner was nowhere to be found. Next thing we know a brand new entire dinner and side of pasta was made for her to take home. I can’t really think of any other restaurant that would do that. Dear Kim and Rob,We were in tonight at a special table for 8, it was a family reunion! Our waiter was Nick....every thing we had was delicious  The drinks  were served in all proper glasses! I'm a freak for ice and proper glasses!Everyone ordered something different, plus we ordered appetizers for the whole table, Baked Clams, Calamari, Pumpkin Bisque, Eggplant  Tower....All delicious and May I add all dishes were piping hot!The Bread  Service was excellent, nice hot bread  and plenty of it, served with an olive oil and spice for dipping.....I can't even tell you what we ordered for our entree's, but I know we all had something different....Nick made recommendations and everything was spot on.....the whole table was full of food  and we all tried each other's food  and just loved eating and tasting everything! I am absolutely in awe of this place!!! Every single thing was perfect. The outside is adorable, the inside is beautiful, there was an amazing saxophonist playing music (not sure what his schedule is, but we were there on a Friday night around 7:30-9:30). The servers and staff were all super welcoming and kind. Everyone said hi to us and greeted us very nicely.Sangria was amazing (i tried the peach and the red- both were really good!!)Burrata was not on the menu, but we asked for it separately and the chef happened to have it, so he made us a beautiful, delicious dish with it!! Mom's meatballs were big, and tasted amazing! Super soft and smooth taste. Came on red sauce, with a cheesy type of white sauce in the middle that we put on top of the meatballs. Soooo yummy!!!! 3 big meatballs in a serving. There were two of us, so we each had 1.5, but honestly even 1 was filling enough. As for entrees, I had the Linguini Frutti del Mare, which is basically Linguini with seafood. It came with white sauce, but I got it with spicy red sauce because that is what the waiter recommended and it was AMAZING!!!!! Super super filling though, so I took the leftovers home.My boyfriend got the Pappardelle from the specials menu, which was a flat type of pasta with small pieces of filé mignon in it. Also really delicious, and had a unique meaty flavor. For dessert, we both got the chocolate lava cake, which was decorated and presented beautifully. and tasted great too! Smooth and creamy and really yummy.My only complaints are that it was a bit loud because of the music and the saxophonist playing at the same time, and that it was pretty pricy.But honestly, i am so amazed at this place. Excellent service -phenomenal drinks and our meals were amazing .I was waiting for my girlfriend and was kindly greeted at the entrance by the owner. I sat at the bar and unbeknownst to me, the bartender wound up being our server as well. I wish I got the gentlemen's name - well, he was on top of his A game. All our food came out in a timely fashion and he was extremely attentive .The owner came prior to our dinner being served and at the end . The best Italian restaurant,he uses the best meat and spices , there veal was so tender, and the portions were big , you leave there full and happy, the service is great ,, I'll be back , and the owner Rob was a real, gentleman, came over to table to see if everything was good , he takes pride at what he does , and don't forget to have the meatballs

Well I would like to say that I eat out quite a bit I just went to Deluca's and I have to say that it is a 5 star place from the minute I walked in to the minute I left everyone in this place was extremely friendly the waiters all were great I am a very picky guy that just looks for things to pick on and there was nothing I can guarantee that if you try this place you will love it to I had zucchini flowers that was out of this world also had salmon and chicken parmigiana they both were fabulous and the Italian cheese cake to tell you the truth it was better than Ferraris in little Italy I can't wait to go back again even the coffee had cremmer on top well I had a great time here thanks everyone for the warm welcome

The first thing when walking in that you notice is the friendly service which is such a delight. We have been here twice now and both times we enjoyed the zucchini flowers that were on special. The chicken parm is some of the best I've had.The meatballs were good but nothing special- I personally thought there were a bit too soft for my liking. DeLuca's hosted our bereavement luncheon after my Mother's funeral for about 25 people. Kim was beyond helpful in setting everything up. She made it very easy for us during this time of stress. Everything was ready when we got there and she made us feel like family. Kim and the staff were very accommodating and immediately took care of the little kids in our group, with items not on our menu, a very nice touch. They were excellent throughout the luncheon in making sure we had everything we needed.All the food was terrific, something our Italian Mother would have loved.The salad was perfectly dressed and the Penne Vodka was cooked perfectly and sauced deliciously.  All three of our entree courses were absolutely delicious. She also went out of her way for a little birthday plate for our niece and we never felt rushed. The unsolicited feedback from our family and friends was all positive, that they all want to go back another time.We truly appreciate all that Kim and her staff did to make us feel comforted at this time of sadness. Ok so my review of my first time @ DeLucas we had a Birthday Celebration mine which is tomorrow and my recently deceased cousin Carol saint that she was! Like everyone’s review of Bella Famiglia and Mike Fiorito mozzarella DeLuca is by far absolutely delicious from appetizer to dessert, Rob DeLuca greeting you as if you were family and constantly checking to make sure you are happy. I made a special request which was accommodated without hesitation. We started with peach sangria and blood orange margarita, appetizer was stuffed zucchini flowers and fried artichoke hearts, my cousin had fioreti pasta purses stuffed with ricotta and pear in a light cream sauce, her friend had chillian sea bass served in a marechiara sauce I requested lobster tail & shrimp in marechiara as well over fresh parpadelle, we enjoyed a champagne toast as well as samples of champagne lip gloss.
