They have amazing customer service and a beautiful personal touch. Tommy had his grandma May bell guitar it was built in 1030. It fell off the wall and broke some pieces off the back. Delgado guitars took care of it and restored it to its original beauty. Thank you 🙏 😊. Hat a great job. More...

I haven't (yet) tried any of Manuel's handmade guitars, but I'm here to talk about his repair work. I just got an overhaul on my 1969 Guild F50 Rosewood - neck reset, new frets, nut, saddle & tuning keys, and a new pickup (LR Baggs Anthem). Manuel also fixed a crack in the top (fixed long ago but needing more attention), a couple of cracked braces, and re-glued the pick guard. The guitar sounded good before, but it's much improved after its makeover with expert hands. And the new pickup is a dream. The previous one was very old (can't remember the brand) and crappy - I had to get a Fishman Spectrum Aura DI box, download a profile for the F50, and turn the blend all the way over to "profile" to get a good amplified sound. Now it sounds best with the blend all the way on "pickup". Long story short, I'm forever grateful that I found Delgado Guitars, and the F50 is even more my pride and joy than it was before. More...

I have two Modulus TBX bass guitars and I even stress when I pick one up thinking I might ding them up on something, so I was very nervous leaving them out of my sight. I spoke with Manuel and told him I would be in the Nashville area this week and he said come on by (I’ll add another highly “rated” company wouldn’t even entertain the idea of at least looking at my basses). He took the time to show me several frets were not level which was causing some buzz. He got both guitars done with complete setup and fret leveling (no more buzz) in two days. Very professional and it’s apparent he treats the guitars he works on as if they were his own. Highly recommend. Thanks very much Manuel . More...

Q&As

Our business was started in 1928 by Manuel A. Delgado’s grandfather and great uncle and now is in its fourth generation with Manuel’s daughters showing an interest and helping at the shop.

While we realize that you have many choices whether it be online purchases, big chain music stores or just the latest music store attempting to draw your attention, we have consistently put our clients and community first and do our best to show all respect and appreciation who walk into our family owned business. We believe when you make a purchase at Delgado Guitars of something big or small, the relationship doesn’t end when you buy something, it begins. We only ask for the opportunity to EARN your business and trust.

Currently, masks are optional, but we do clean regularly, keep hand sanitizer available and are happy to wear a mask if that makes you more comfortable. If or when conditions are bad or numbers are high, we did require masks and provide them for our clients. We hate that it became a political issue for so many and we respect everyone’s right to choose what they feel is best for their own body and health. We also feel we have to do what is best for our staff and family and ask that others respect our choice as well. Again, we currently are not requiring masks, it is optional.
