Blink is a small but classy and stylish salon that I enjoy visiting (despite a long commute to get there). It would be hard for me to accurately describe my love for Leigh as a professional and as a person. Technically, her skills are beyond amazing. Whether it's a drastic change or even "just a trim" I always leave feeling like I have insta worthy fashion girl hair. Personally, she welcomes you to the salon like you're visiting the most gracious friend you have. The salon itself is gorgeous, no detail missed. Henley and Leigh are quite possibly the most spectacular beauty professionals I have ever encountered. In looking for a salon where I could address my many desires to look my best, I discovered this gem in my favorite part of my neighborhood, in the most charming building. Dawson does not disappoint in atmosphere, decor, or delivery of transformative beauty services. I was started off with a super informative consultation where I had the privilege of meeting both these beautiful and talented women, which I followed up with a micro blading session, then most recently, a haircut. Henley is an artist and a pro and has done a fabulous job with my brows, and my heart, holding my hand through the transition times of the brow technique, and priming me for future aesthetic self improvements.  Leigh then gave me quite possibly the best haircut I have ever had. My self esteem was catapulted into another dimension by the Goldie Hawn/bad girl style I walked out of there with. And the way my hair smelled! And the softness and shine! Simply incredible. I am in Seattle visiting family, and I walked by this cute little salon. They were able to fit me in a last-minute for a haircut, even giving me options for appointment times. The salon space is cozy, clean, and inviting. Leigh gave me a beautiful cut and style, and I definitely feel like she listened to my hair goals. I will most definitely be back next time I'm in town! Crystal warmed up my dated ombré and put a gloss on my hair and made my mane shiny, frizz free and oh so beautiful! She also hands down gives the most amazing head massages. The salon is inviting and relaxing. The sheepskin throws on the hair washing chairs are my favorite and so cozy! They use great products and offer an array of services. Crystal is new to Atelier and she has been doing my color since we graduated beauty school together. She's the only person I trust! She has been trained by not only the best in the business but has a great eye for her own techniques and has taken me pretty much ever color under the rainbow. (Pictures  included)Remember that extreme color transformations don't always come through 100% the first time and that an excellent color doesn't come cheap! Crystal is worth ever penny and I will continue to see her as long as I possibly can. She is patient and sweet and no doubt the only person I'd like to spend hours with while having my hair done. I did a lash lift last night for the first time and I am in love! I was recommended to Haley by a family member and I am so thankful. I have had straight eyelashes all my life and finally got to the point where using a curler did not even work anymore. I cannot even tell you how great it was to wake up this morning and just put mascara on and be ready to go. The lift process took about an hour. Haley was so nice and accomodating and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. This review is late, but I figured better late than never!I was looking for a place that did lash lifts and lash tints and Blink Atelier caught my eye. After researching different places, this seemed like the best bet for what I was looking for and it had the best reviews for this type service. I wanted a lash lift before a trip I was going to and was hoping to I could get it sooner than later since it was only a week away. I sent an e-mail on a Thursday night and I had a response by that next morning. The eyelash specialist, Haley, was able to answer my e-mail right away and fit me in for a lash lift and tint that coming Saturday morning. I have issues with skin sensitivity so I asked many questions beforehand about the procedure, the type of products used, etc. etc. Haley was able to answer all questions and concerns I had over e-mail before I went to the actual boutique.Blink Atelier is located in a cute area, Broadway, and the street it is on was very welcoming. Also, there are a lot of different shops and food around the area which is good for before or after your appointment! I had to wait a little bit as there was a patient before me, but once she was done, I was attended to right away. Haley went through the products she uses and addressed my concerns with my skin sensitivity. Once I was at eased, we dived right in! Since I have never done anything like this before, I didn't know what to expect, besides what I saw on online videos.These padded adhesives are placed on your eyelids and right below your lower lashline to protect your skin from the product used to give your lashes a lift. It was awkward at first because you don't want to open your eyes, but once you get used to it, it is actually quite comfortable as you are laying there. The whole curling/lifting process took around 40 mins after that, she tinted my lashes a dark blue (but I really couldn't see that big of a difference unless light was shining on my face). The whole process took about an hour and the results were great!My lashes were nice, perky, and curled and it was crazy how I didn't have to use an eyelash curler anymore. I noticed that if any of the lashes went askew, all you had to do was re-wet your face/eyes and the curl would be back to normal (like a regular hair perm when you want it curly again). It's been 2 months since I've had the lift and within the past couple of weeks is when I noticed the curl starting to go away, mainly because of eyelash growth. This service is definitely more of a treat and not a necessity since it is on the pricier side, but if you have a special occasion, or a trip where you don't want to bother with mascara or eyelash curler, I would recommend this! I first came to Blink after having extensions done elsewhere (another salon in another city). These extensions were painful to the point of my eyes swelling. Haley took one look at me and said, "Oooh, girl those LOOK like they hurt. They need to come off." About half an hour later, the painful lashes were gone and she had sent me home with biotin to help the healing process. I had originally wanted new extensions to test out for my upcoming wedding but Haley actually recommended against it since my eyes had been through such trauma and I completely agreed!I went back about a week or so later to have new extensions put on and WHAT a different experience it was from the first ones I had had done. She consulted with me on the look I wanted, had me lay back on the heated table and handed me a blanket. About two painless hours later, I had a full set of beautiful lashes. They are so natural looking- I look like me just a little more glam!Haley really knows her stuff and is very friendly and kind. The whole process was so easy which is quite a change considering my eyes stung, burned and watered throughout the ENTIRE procedure at the other salon. By the way, they told me that was completely normal and it's actually totally NOT so if you've been elsewhere and experienced that kind of pain- probably time to switch places!I am very much looking forward to the upkeep of my lashes and I'm so thankful to have found this little gem! I have been going to Leigh for a long time because she is a phenomenal hair stylist.  I currently live in the Midwest but see Leigh every time I'm in Seattle.  I tried lash extensions in the Midwest but had a so-so experience.  I decided to try Blink since Leigh has such a high standard of excellence.  Wow!  Haley spent time discussing what look I was envisioning and then proceeded to put the most amazingly natural looking set of lashes on me in 2 hrs.  I had to laugh because it took the same amount of time when I had them done in the Midwest but I ended up with 4X more lashes at Blink!  I highly recommend Blink.  You will be pampered and come out looking beautiful... I was referred to Blink by a girlfriend after my first experience with lash extensions not going so well at Luna Lash in Seattle.  What did not go well at Luna Lash...-toxic fumes coming from the glue that was being used.  My eyes were tearing up the whole time, I had a hard time breathing after 2-hrs of being there & even Bri was sniffling something fierce by the end of it all as well.  I asked if this was the norm because it was my first time & she had said yes.  :/Fast forward to meeting up with my girlfriend & she had just had her first set put on as well.  They looked amazing & her experience was completely different.  It took her the same amount of time but she said she had no reaction and/or no fumes coming from the glue.  She said she actually slept through the whole thing.  Referred to it as the most relaxing thing ever!I decided to give Blink a try since I needed a refill & didn't necessarily want to go thru the asphyxiation process again just for lashes.The boutique/shop is so pretty, clean & serene.  My lash expert was Haley & she was very sweet & knew her stuff!  She examined what I had on, asked what my vision was & then gave her recco.  I laid down, she placed a blanket on me & 2-hrs later had an amazing set of lashes...I mean FLAT GORGEOUS!!!!Not only did I get a restful nap but I woke up looking fantastic!  The experience I had with Blink is what I had expected the first time around.  They have a variety of options for lashes & will customize them for you.  I HIGHLY recommend Blink to anyone wanting to try them out.  They are SOOO worth it! I first came here about a year ago, after getting my lashes down at a different place and not being happy with it.  And ever since then, I've been coming here consistently. Amber is amazing!!  She gets it perfect every time, and she'll customize your lashes on what you're looking for - natural-looking to full on glam.   Don't waste your money on the "cheaper" places, cause you get what you pay for.  My lashes here lasts a long time, because they use the best materials.  I don't think i can ever go back to my own lashes! I was hesitant to go the fake lash route because it's expensive and I was worried about an allergic reaction (not to mention looking like a freak). But I got a very glamorous set of lashes that look amazing! It took about 90 minutes and every lash is perfect. The overall space is beautiful, the locale is excellent (though I imagine parking is a pain) and I met the owner and she was super nice and cool. The only drawbacks are that after a couple days my eyes still feel a little strange/foreign, it's a LOT more challenging to put on eye makeup around this big, batty lashes, and I keep wanting to scrub my face with soap and water and I can't really do that now. But overall I'm happy with my new batty lashes! More...

Most amazing lash perm ever!!!! I'm sooo happy with the results , it was my first time and my lashes where super straight it was imposible to curl with an eyelash curler, after the perm it only takes one time to curl them and it last ALL day , very professional it didn't took long and felt like I was in a spa deff coming back!
