Sropped on my way back to Houston I got the big boy with sausage and sliced brisket it was seasoned well and I could taste the smoke and was tender soooooo good. This is a great BBQ restaurant located outside San Antonio, Texas. in a little town about 30 miles away. I would drive that in a heart beat to eat at this place. Heard about this place. Played golf in Seguin, decided to stop and try. Small place, filled with picnic tables to sit on. Also has covered patio . Friendly young lady taking our order. Had brisket, sausage plate with beans and Mac and cheese. Both meats were very tasty. Brisket was tender and moist. Really liked taste if the sausage. Overall a good experience and meal. Great BBQ. Delicious sides. Owner is awesome. Employees need to work on their customer service though. There was a mix up on our order and was told by employee who brought the replacement, that the ITHER employee was angry at us and said we should be charged for the extra side even though we didn't order it. I told her we weren't going to eat it because we didn't order it and didn't like potato salad and she just gave us a look. Kept watching me to make sure we weren't eating it. After our meal we walked over to the owner and explained what happened. He said, "Don't worry about it. We just throw it away if the customer already had it in their possession". Davila's is so good. Taste so yummy. Inside it has the Texas feel. The meat is melt in your mouth good. You can ask for it to be with no fat, or thinly sliced.
