What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Honestly, just put your heart into it! Get to know the client enough to make them feel comfortable with themselves. Not everyone is confident to see what they look like in photographs, but it gives me pride to create a comfortable environment where my clients can feel at their best.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Where, when, and what time is the shoot? If you're hosting an event, how long will you need me? Do you have any special shots in mind for me to create for you?
What do you love most about your job?
Photography to me is 3 things. One of them is about preserving precious moments. Most of the time when a client asks me to take photos for them, it's for solidifying a momentous occasion in their lives. Weddings, for example, are arguably one of the most special events in the client's life, and nothing brings me more pride than preserving these joyful memories.
Photography can also be a powerful influence on the viewer to imagine the possibilities of what could be. As for Real Estate, I'm a little fan of architecture and photographing properties gives me an idea of what to look for in a home myself. So when I take images of houses, I want viewers to get excited and envision their future within the home.
And finally, one of the greatest things about my job... traveling! Even if I'm not driving out too far, I love that this career/hobby takes me to different corners of my environment and discover more of the beauty of this planet.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Way back when in my early 20s, I was playing in bands and working in the service industry. Through work I met a great guy named Tim, who became my photography mentor and showed me how to be my own boss. He was like a big brother to me, he had an infectious type of energy that gave everyone a smile when we worked together on weddings, real estate shoots, and corporate events. We worked together for a couple of years before he moved across the country, but he had given me a great start at tackling this small business of mine.
Event Photography
Whether it be a corporate conference or award ceremony, a birthday celebration, or private function, I will capture all the highlights and candid essence of the occasion.
With this service I will deliver up to 20-30 images per hour of service required. Group photos for corporate events are included but individual professional headshots will be a separate charge.
This service normally requires a two hour minimum. First 30 miles each way from my home and venue are waived, however a Time & Travel fee of $0.60 per mile will incur for every extra mile.
Photos are normally delivered within 1-2 weeks.

Wedding Photography
First of all, CONGRATS on your engagement! If you're looking for a professional photographer for your wedding, I'm your guy. Moments like these are very special, and I enjoy nothing more than taking the best photos encapsulating your "best day ever" for you to look back on.
With this service, I'll be there to grab every detailed moment from start to finish: Getting ready, groomsmen, bridesmaids, the first look, the ceremony, posed portraits, family & guest group photos, the reception, first dance, cake cutting, and all the shenanigans in between! I am the perfect combination of a fly on the wall grabbing candids and a social butterfly to grab group photos of all your friends and family.
This service normally requires a 4hr minimum. Prices vary if you'd like an engagement shoot included prior to the date of the wedding or if a wedding album is needed. A Time & Travel fee may incur depending on location of the wedding venue, and a security deposit is required at the signing of our contract to lock the date in.
Photos are normally delivered between 2-3 weeks, sometimes sooner!

Real Estate Photography
This field is one of my specialties! Not only do I take care of Interior & Exterior photos, but I also offer Aerial Drone Images and Matterport 3D Scans. Each service starts at $149 for properties up to 2,000 square feet, however I also offer many combo packages that will save you money!
Photos are delivered within 24-48 hours and are MLS ready.
