What’s your interior design process?
I schedule a phone call and chat with the potential client about their project goals and timeline. The next step is to meet at the job site to do a walk through. After our meeting, I send a follow up email to confirm the scope of work, then submit a proposal. Once proposal is approved, I send over an agreement via DocuSign or in person, and collect the retainer payment and get started!
For clients who are not comfortable having outsiders in their home at this time, we can offer virtual space planning and design boards for furniture and decor packages if homeowner can provide architectural drawings and/or dimensions, and finish material boards for clients who want to execute a remodel themselves.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I have admiration for elements of almost every style from elegant and stylish to mid century modern, to bold and eccentric. My role is to create a space that makes my clients happy with a style that appeals most to their taste and lifestyle.
What do you love most about your job?
Every day is different. Some days I'm on a job site with my sub contractors, going over a detail drawing or finish plan I drafted, and others, I'm in the office putting together finishes and furnishings for a new design package. Transforming spaces still invigorates me, and excites me even after 17 years working as an interior designer.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been a leader, and have enjoyed the freedom of paving my own career destiny. My love for travel inspired me to as well, so I can make my own schedule and balance time with family. I have a strong work ethic and enjoy seeing my efforts result in happy clientele. Many of my clients have resulted in wonderful friendships.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should chose me if they want someone to take the reigns on a remodel project, or if they are at a complete loss on how to bring their interior space together in terms of functionality and style and want an outside perspective.
