this place has such a great atmosphere! Macie, Luis and Taylor at the front desk is so friendly! Harvey gave me a great tour around the location and we're meeting back up on Thursday! 10/10 for sure.

Sketchy in regards to checking temperatures for COVID Protocols. They aren’t even ‘frequently’ testing like they said they were. No ones getting checked. I asked a staff member in front and asked why they stopped checking and why other Crunch Fitnesses were still checking and they weren't. Music is too loud, like a night club. Employees not wearing masks. The upkeep of the facility is subpar. The temperature station is no longer at the entrance. The signs for mandatory masks for entry is no longer up and visible. There is no leadership and/or management ever around and it shows by the environment. The staff is trying desperate to gain more members by leaving marketing advertisement on equipment, so sad. This facility could have the potential of success, it starts with management first. Feeling sad, I can’t complete my training with Papa Ray, who is fantastic, but I rather instead pay my hard earn money to someone else, anyone but his rude manager. I called in because I wanted to cancel my training session within three days. Trevor answers the phone and, with an insulting attitude, tells me I have to contact my trainer. I asked Trevor to get me in contact with the coaches' manager. He refuses to say I have to contact my trainer. I let him know he is making it more difficult than what it should be. Somehow and for some random reason, Trevor tells his manager I cursed him, which was a total lie; not once I disrespect him; please check the recordings. Chris, the manager, on the other hand, rudest guy ever. Handled the situation very poorly. Says his policies have changed and can't guarantee my refund of 195 dollars that I paid yesterday, even though there is a 3-day cancellation policy. If he doesn't know, he shall call someone and verify because I want my refund, and I wanted an answer on the spot. He says there isn't anybody to get because they are a franchise; after some back and forth, he says no worries, we will refund it( It is evident that he could reimburse me from the get-go, but wanted to give me a hard time instead ) He did mention rules had changes they had to go to training about the new rules. He made it seem like he just didn’t know. He then proceeds to give me a paper to enter my address and sign. I had to enter the refund amount and signature. The refund amount portion states the compliance department must review the refund, yet the manager has no clue about this. Even though he said, they went to training about the new rules... He did say it would take three business days to get my money back. I genuinely feel like he was trying to have me sign off and not give me a refund; he certainly didn’t ask me to fill out where it asks why I wanted to cancel. The overall situation seemed very sketchy, I didn't want to walk away without a confirmation my reimbursement would be made. . Along with the conversation, he said things like; it's okay we don't want you here, I don't care if you leave. We don't need people like you to be rude here. He was rolling eyes, speaking loudly. Very unskilled. At this point I want to cancel my membership. He send me back to Trevor to cancel my membership who started arguing with me that I did curse him, not at him but I did use curse words, very immature anyways.I told him he was the reason for my cancellation and he shared his opinion.He said the reason I was cancelling is because I don't follow rules and didn't want to pay. I quickly let him know I definitely make more than him and this wasn't about the money. He also said that I wasn't going to write the full story online. Well Trevor here it is. Crowded, dirty machines , rude front desk worker and worst of all IMPOSSIBLE to cancel service/membership. Plain and simple worst fitness club I’ve ever been a part of. Tried to reach out multiple times via email/call to cancel membership. They do not care or honor the company policy due to Covid restrictions. I continue to be billed and ignored. This morning I got a reply to 2 identical emails with 2 completely different responses. One said I need to *physically* sign the cancellation (despite online company policy outline) and the other that I had a personal training membership that required a letter be sent to you guessed it the same address I needed to “physically sign” the cancellation form to. Again same email, same account number. Someone just picked a generic reply as to avoid cancellation. It’s this great attention to detail that made me file a formal complaint to FDACS. The front desk help has been rude to me but we worked it out.. But the seated calf machine has been down ever since I joined and that was on August 22nd. There is no excuse for that.

Extremely rude staff, Harvey at the front desk is very inhumane. he wouldn't allow me to enter to use the bathroom after checking my temperature. Also the GM is so busy that he avoided having a face to face conversation with me. I'm just a guest and not even a member. I've read most of their reviews online and it looks like this maybe a recurring issue with their staff and communication. More...

We went in today to cancel our membership as I am high risk and the staff is not enforcing safety policies. We expected to be responsible for paying June’s membership fee however Matt Salas refuses to waive the annual fee of $49 ($98 for both of us) as we did not provide 30 days notice. The annual fee for us comes out in June and is for the next year. Well if I calculate it correctly, I would have had to cancel the day they reopened. We should not have to pay a membership fee for the next year since we won’t be there. He also refused to provide a phone number or even an email address for his supervisor. Very unprofessional. I went in this week to cancel since I had been paying for the gym membership and personal training for nearly 9 months without going. BUT James Carter saved me as soon as I walked in.
