I have worked with John Crossman for 35 years on hundreds of video programs. He has been creative, dependable and a wonderful friend. I give him the highest accolades possible. As an editor, graphic artist and overall creative person he is tops. I have referred him to many others needing his kind of work and they have never been disappointed. Not only can he edit, but he is a great videographer, writer and narrator. He can do it all. Kudos, kudos, kudos. More...

I have had the pleasure of working with John Crossman since 1989 on countless projects ranging from sports and resorts, to non-profits, home fitness, medical, retail and more. John is a rare find in that he puts as much (if not more) into the project than most producers. His attention to detail and ability to 'problem solve' when a shot or two is missing is just short of amazing. I have won multiple awards for the pieces John and I have produced together and the editing was the bulk of the reason. I look forward to more work with Crossman Digital Post in the coming years. Q&As

Clarity. Google at one end, and Amazon with a million clickable pieces of text on their interface. Your purpose and product should be clear when a person hits your home page. Major statements on what you do or deliver. Details can be on other pages or down your home page.

What sites do they like and why? Do they want to be able to make minor changes to the site once it is up?

I like to know as much as I can about the organization and the end message they are trying to create. Every message is a story and the more depth you can bring to the message, the better it will work. So I will research, ask questions and refine what the objectives for the message are. No shot or edit is done without a purpose, and the more I know, the better decisions I can make.

I need to understand their expectations of the final product, the time it will take, the cost involved, and the clarity they have about what they want.

I love to build messages that help the client and their customers. I recently had the challaneg of expalining a soon be to be released software product that fills a need in a complex market. I was charged with telling that "story" through a series of custom designed animations and graphics and the final result was powerful for the company resulting in nearly a 100% sales record when the videos were used. I want to help my clients succeed.

I did it to continue to learn and grow. I felt I had reached a terminal place - although I loved working there - at the TV station I worked at. I started to develop work outside of that and that eventually lead to starting off on my own. I have traveled to South America and Europe doing productions for my clients that I never would have experienced otherwise.

It sounds corny, but you won't find someone else who cares more about their project. As I stated above, I want my clients to be successful in their business - that's how I hope to do more work and find my own success.

My services - such as video editing are not available online per se, but I use a lot of on line tools like vimeo and youtube for reviewing and getting changes from clients. Vimeo has a feature that allows a view to make comment and log the specific times as they review and that can be useful. I also use dropbox and google drives when the need arises.
Website development is of course on line and access can also be set up so clients can review the progress whenever they need to. U generally use WIX in websites as they have tools I have used a lot and I have found WIX to be pretty robust.

Most clients do not sit with me when i work. I wear masks for meetings and other one on one times if the client requests it.
