What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There is no secret to taking a great photograph. Having a strong skill set, having strong communication to understand exactly what is to be created, using premiere post-production and retouching techniques, and being able to deliver high-quality results consistently are the keys to successful, unique, and branded content.

The collaborative aspect of commercial photography and commercial content creation overall is incredibly satisfying. It's a process that constantly changes from client to client and helps expand the vision of our project and our capabilities as a team.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A unique vision paired with a passion to create and build a strong community was the motivation for starting Crimson Sun Studios. Having opportunities to build emotive PR, marketing, and advertising content that resonates and connects businesses, non-profits, and professionals to their community is an incredible experience and offers unlimited possibilites for us all.

Most services cannot be provided online or remotely, largely due to project production needs. Video and photo editing can be provided remotely. Certain product photography can be provided remotely and consultations can be provided remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid-19 has been a disruption to many industries, including content creation. Productions have been paired down to essential crew and all members on production wear masks through the entirety of production. When creating high-quality portraits, distance is maintained between subject and photographer and styling is directed to the subject so there is minimal contact between individuals. We practice sanitary practices with ourselves and our gear, and work to sanitize workspaces when necessary. It is of utmost importance for you to feel comfortable through each project and for everyone involved to stay safe and healthy. Through these practices, we may continue to maintain our business and our communities.
