Crest Exteriors replaced the roof on my home in 2017. Beginning of November I noticed a bad leak in the roof above my garage. It has been leaking long enough that the OSB decking has begun rotting away. I contacted Crest about the leak and they sent someone out to look at it the next day. One of the first things the representative stated was “why did it take so long to be reported there was a leak”. Well probably because the leak had finally become severe enough to be noticed? Over a week had gone by and I had not heard from them. so I called to see if I could get an update on the situation. I was told by the representative that it will not be covered under warranty. So I called back to speak with the owner Logan. Once again I hear the phrase “why did it take so long to be reported there was a leak”. Logan said that they would not warranty their work because the leak was due to old siding and flashing and that they did not replace the siding or flashing (https://youtu.be/TviGm_axhjM). Well apparently they didn’t seal the siding or flashing back up after replacing the roof either. Instead he uses terms like it's a "dead valley" to try to confuse customers into believing he's not at fault. A dead valley is where there isn't adequate drainage and water pools up, hard to do at a nearly 45° angle. Logan told me that to repair the siding and flashing is a “Tedious task”. I asked him if the roof had been leaking before they replaced it, why would the leak have not been addressed when they replaced the roof the first time. He explained to me that if “I bought new tires on my car, the shop would not be responsible for an oil leak”. They would be responsible if the tires had a leak! So the fact that my roof was not leaking before they replaced it and that now it is, it is not their responsibility to uphold their “Superior warranty”. Logan became rude and unprofessional in his demeanor on the phone at this point, he began stating the call is recorded (which I hope it is) and that he would fire back at my review. They even had the audacity to send me an $1875 estimate to repair the leak. After reading other reviews I see this is not the first instance of this happening and they called repairing the leak “pro bono”. DO NOT use this company at the risk of their poor work causing issues to later not be covered under their “superior warranty”. Aaron was incredibly helpful facilitating our roof replacement within a timely manner. The sale of our house was pending the replacement of our roof before closing date. Aaron and his crew were able to not only hit the due date, but upgraded the builders grade roof to a 30 year architectural roof for no additional cost to me. He met with our insurance adjuster, got the claim filed, and all the paperwork turned in before our closing date! Levi did an outstanding job working with us explaining the process and ensuring that work was completed to our satisfaction. Seriously, these guys are the best! Let me share my recent experience with them.... I am in the process of buying a house that needed a new roof and unfortunately it was not Crest that put a new roof on the house. The other roofing company was chosen buy the sellers realtor, and they did not provide proper documentation that my homeowners insurance required. When I reached out to them to get proper documentation they were very resistant to provide anything further. This led me to feel the proper work had not been done. So I immediately called Logan at Crest last night and he shows up this morning to inspect the house. The report, pictures, and summary he emailed me to was incredible. It was so thorough and insightful. It makes me wish I did have a roof for them to replace. Fortunately, the home I am buying does have a new roof and I am so grateful and thankful for Logan @ Crest. I knew I could trust him and his words. This is why we are having Logan and his team come back out to do interior work on the house when we close. 5 Stars! After careful research and review checking, we hired Crest Exteriors to replace flashing around our leaking chimney as well as repair and replace parts of a damaged chimney and double flue at our vacation rental property, River House Goliad. The pitch of the slick, metal roof is very steep and the location of house is a bit difficult to access with large equipment. None of the challenges were an issue for Crest.The repair & replacement work is well done and they were meticulous in their clean up & attention to detail. I'm happy to report that the customer service and communication experience is excellent. Crest's team is professional, polite and clearly explain the process, provides pictures and a detailed bid/contract process. Specifically, I want to thank Matt (Regional Manager) & his team, Justin Lacey & Aiden for their hard work and excellence in customer service/experience. Additionally, Justin, his wife Courtney and Aiden stayed as our guests at River House as repairs were made over the weekend. They were excellent guests, clean & tidy. Project Manager Rob Aguam was with us every step of the way and made everything smooth and as painless as possible with great communication and knowledge. Recently experienced a bad storm in the Frisco, TX area that tore off a portion of my roof. Logan and his crew were at my house within an hour of the storm passing. They took pictures of the damage before and after they tarped my roof. The very next day (prior to noon) they were back at my house making the repairs, using the identical shingles I have on my roof, so you can’t tell any damage had ever occurred. Crest exteriors repaired hail damage on my home in May 2017 in Dallas, Tx. including replacing the roof. All aspects of the job were done well, completed quickly and I was very satisfied with the outcome. I would certainly recommend to my friends & family. With that said, shingles in several places on my roof blew off from the ‘Micro-burst” in June 2019. I contacted Crest about this. Crest installed a new roof, gutters, and fence recently from a hail storm. The whole process went smoother than we could have imagined. Chip was alway on time, professional, and stuck by his word on everything he said Crest would deliver. The roofers did a great job and the roof looks better quality wise than the others on our block that were also recently replaced. Thank you to Crest, Colby Lee and Mike Polanzi for taking such great care of our home. After the storm damage, I was overwhelmed with everything that needed to be fixed. I had never filed a homeowners claim and had no clue what to expect. Colby and Mike came right in, assessed the damage and immediately took action to get our home restored. We could not be happier with our new roof! The whole process was seamless. Michael Murray made our experience with Crest Exteriors nothing short of amazing. He always made himself available to answer any of our questions and was very professional. The crew was on time and was very thorough when it came to protecting all of our outdoor landscaping and furniture prior to starting the process. Michael’s team also did an excellent job cleaning up after they were done! We couldn’t even tell that they had been there that day. Excellent, friendly service from start to finish! My time was respected every step of the way with prompt and courteous workers who arrived ready to work On time and cleaned up after. Work was done completely, Every precaution was made to ensure property was protected. Attic was inspected before and after, windows were carefully protected before and during work. Chip was on site most of the day to answer any questions and make sure work went smoothly. Chip went above and beyond to make sure our pets were comfortable with all the commotion. Our project manager Colby Lee explained everything about the process and what to expect. Once our insurance company approved the claim, he provided an estimate and the job was completed the very next week!
We are very pleased with the quality of all of the materials for our new roof. We had other estimates done and the quality of the materials were substandard in comparison.
The crew finished the job in 1 day! The workers were very polite and did very professional, quality work and a thourough clean-up as well. They didn't even interrupt our sattelite internet/cable service which was a big relief!!

This wonderful group is here in Victoria Tx helping us after Hurricane Harvey. They donated over 800 hot lunches with drinks to our community and if that wasn't service enough they water proofed a near by house missing siding, for free. Great group I asked about my house and where other had waiting lists they were there with in the hour and took a huge Oak off my roof and patch the hole it left. It’s unbelievable how they can completely replace a roof in one day and their workmanship is top notch. Every piece of trash was picked up and and they left our home in perfect shape...like they were never there. Everybody was professional, courteous, and personable.
