We had Denise out for two events.  Our Summer Kick Off Party was a very large event with parents and children.  The queue was very long and Denise and her partners were very patient and made the process proceed smoothly.  The children were very happy with the face painting, balloons and glitter tattoos.  She was a very positive addition to our party.  The second event was just an onsite event for the children at the preschool.  She was very engaging with the children explaining about colors and different techniques.  She even did henna tattoos for our staff who were showing them off for days afterward.Denise is a very talented artist who knows how to engage young children.  We are looking forward to having her back on campus next summer.  I highly recommend her and her partners if you need face painting, balloons, tattoos or any other services she offers. We have had Denise and her team at our Junior High School for a few big events now and the students love her and always ask if 'the face painters' are coming again.  She is easy to work with, reliable, reasonably priced, and beyond talented.  She has done balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, face paint, henna, and a beautiful white henna at our events. I am so happy I found Denise and her team! She brought candle making, Henna tattoos and a cotton candy artist to my daughters 12th birthday. What I thought was going to be simple candle making was a beautiful set up of charms and scents and all the guests had a great time creating their own personal candles. The Cotton candy art was so cool and grownups and kids alike loved eating his creations.  The Henna artists did both white and real henna, so people could chose their preference and everyone walked away happy. Denise's company is outstanding. The amount of services her business offers is incredible.  Somehow they manage to be above and beyond in every service they offer AND her prices are great! The kids were entertained for hours.  I've never seen such beautifully intricate balloon animals.  The reptiles were a huge hit and you could tell the handler really enjoy their jobs and love kids, too.  It was easy to book, easy to schedule, everything was seamless.  Would definitely book them again in the future! DENISE WAS AWESOME! honestly we lucked out that she was available so last minute and we couldn't have been more pleased! First of all her energy is one of a kind! Her style is so cool! And her ART is even cooler! Wow!! Everyone was raving about the face painting at my sons 5th birthday! We did a space theme and she painted a galaxy on my face! And she even did white Henna on some of my guest and it stayed in their arms for weeks!! I didn't want to wash my face so I could keep my face painting on for the next day! I have nothing but RAVE reviews about this company. I used them for my daughter's 7th birthday party and everyone at the party - including my daughter - thought their face painting artist was the highlight of the day (and that includes cake and goodie bags! ) She was absolutely fantastic and I could not recommend the team more highly. I am so happy I came across Creative Faces.  The parents of my daughter's soccer team wanted to do bracelets instead of trophies, and I found Denise through a web search.  She had everything for them to be able to personalize their bracelets.  The girls had a great time and loved it!  Denise also did face painting and of course my daughter waited until the last minute to decide on getting her face painted.  Denise had another party to get to, but she stopped and did something real quick and I promise you would have thought she spent minutes on her face and not just a few seconds.  Denise is so gifted, talented, professional and absolutely the best!  I will recommend her to anyone and everyone.  We will definitely be using her services again and again.  Thanks Denise! We booked our daughter's third birthday party a little last minute, and we were very happy that Denise worked with us in booking a face painter and a balloon maker. The communication via email was efficient before the party and we were pretty excited to have this type of fun and entertainment at the party, what we got though was a little disappointing. While the artist did amazing work and was very talented, I feel that both the artist and balloon maker lacked in friendliness. They barely introduced themselves to my husband and I, and they seemed to have no enthusiasm or excitement for the party.  While I understand that perhaps they were tired from working the party that they came from, I would still expect them to be kind and genuine to the guests and show a little enthusiasm, especially since this was a kids party. They didn't really explain to the kids what they were offering, so therefore the guests seemed a little nervous to get in line for the services. Besides the face painting and balloon making, temporary glitter tattoos were supposed to be offered, however the children didn't really know about this, as the balloon maker really didn't say much. Don't think there was any glitter added to the few tattoos that were done. The face painter was a little off putting with parents and guests as well. While I understand  that they were there do paint the children's faces first and foremost, if a parent wanted their face painted, that should not have been a problem, as many kids were shy to have their faces painted. While the artist did paint some of the adults faces, she didn't seem too thrilled or inviting about  it. Being in the hospitality/customer service industry myself, it pains me to write this, however it was on my mind all weekend after the party, especially since we spent a small fortune to offer this service to our guests $335 plus tip. I would give the art five stars, however I would give the customer service one star, which is so important in this day and age, especially when there are so many companies competing for business out there. If you want great art, but with people who aren't very friendly and won't speak or interact with guests much, go with this company! More...

I have used Denise for the past four Art Crawls in the city of South Pasadena....She is absolutely amazing, the kids love her and the activities she offers.  I have done Face Painting (2X's), Balloon Twisting and recently did the Candle Making.  Never does she dissapoint, she brightens up our street...it becomes alive with her presence.  I have another city Art Crawl coming up  on October 16th....without question, I will be using Denise.  I can't say enough....her creativity and flair is hands down out of this world! We absolutely LOVED having Denise and her team for our son's 1 year birthday...they were a huge hit!
