An informational talk on refrigeration was given here and the food was served banquet style. The food though was well cooked. The salt potatoes and prime rib was especially good and I was genuinely surprised by the quality. A tray of desserts was put on each table. I was impressed by my experience. My wife and I held our wedding here. It was absolutely beautiful and memorable. The food was so delicious and the scenery was picturesque. My Granddaughter had her wedding and reception at Glendoveers this past weekend. The setting was beautiful. Glendoveers did an outstanding job in every aspect. Glendoveers was absolutely amazing. I’m so happy we pick this venue for a wedding the ceremony outside was breathtaking with all of the leaves are beginning to change. the weather was perfect! I’ve had nothing but compliments about the hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour, the bar, and the food served at dinner. We hosted our daughter's baptism reception here. It was wonderful and I cannot think of a single thing I would have wanted done differently! The room was clean and tables set exactly how I wanted them. I was able to come in the morning to set up some photos and flowers. The cheese and cracker station was beautiful and tasty - we added fresh fruit as well which was probably the freshest and best tasting I've ever experienced at a party house. The buffet was DELICIOUS. My guests complimented me over and over! The ice cream sundae bar was also a complete hit - everyone was thrilled! I will use Glendoveers in the future. Excellent. More...

My husband and I chose this location for our wedding, and everything came together way better than we ever hoped. We had a themed wedding, medieval fantasy (think Dungeons and Dragons, don't blame my husband, it was my idea lol), and between the lovely fireplace and amazing outdoor scenery, it just worked out perfectly for pictures. In the photos you can see the field out behind the building, the fireplace where we chose for our indoor ceremony (as you can have indoor or outdoor), the cake stand (which is a cute barrel with a glass table on top), how the cake was served, and pretty shot of how the tables looked. I'd include more photos but I don't want to have to ask all the people in them if they mind lolShannon was amazing, even though she was busy with her own wedding and honeymoon (congratulations again ;D ) she gave us all the information we needed, answered all our questions, and helped ensure we knew what to expect. It was almost overwhelming with all the different choices they give you, between table cloths and food options, but I really appreciated the thought that went into everything.The food was BEYOND amazing, everyone was happy (yes even my picky grandma lol JUST KIDDING GRANDMA I LOVE YOU) The dance floor is well placed, near the exit for people like me who have social anxiety and want to slip out unnoticed once in a while and hate dancing lol But there was plenty of room everywhere for all our guests, dancing or not (we had about 80 guests)The staff were all very courteous, and almost invisible half the time as they cleaned up and ducked around skillfully, they worked so hard so a big thank you to the staff that worked that day, you were amazing!!All in all, I had multiple people (even a couple staff members) complimenting us for our choices and saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to! :) More...

Good event space with excellent food and service. We recently attended a wedding here and found the space (and the wedding) quite enjoyable. The beer selection was not huge but it was ample and provided guests from both sides of the drinking divide some good choices. The food and service were great, and the space itself was able to fit the 200 guests quite ably, even without the ability to use large patio during December. Parking was limited however. More...

I'd ABSOLUTELY recommend this place. Food was EXCELLENT staff was great. However, they do not allow you to take the leftover food. Such a lovely gem tucked in the woodsy hills off Browncroft. A friend of mine hosted a surprise engagement party here, and I was presently surprised by the beautiful natural scenery surrounding the place. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our Anniversary/Costume Party was a huge success! Shannon was very accommodating to our ideas and allowed us to decorate this lovely venue the way we wanted. The food was amazing! The service was fantastic.!The entire staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating.
